Did anyone try to shield bash with a non ochain? Maybe they gimped Ochain bash dmg.

Guy in LS tested with Aegis and now does 338 with assorted shield bash gear, previously did 365 apparently.

I got this as well, was trying to update with windower. I closed pol and opened it normally and a windows installer thing popped up, and eventually asked me to insert ffxi disk 1. I said no and it got angry at me and started giving that same message once again. <.<; So I closed and reopened again and am planning to say yes this time.

I just tried reinstalling this one. No go.

Ok so if I never had that installed from downloading off the windower forums, I shouldn't have an issue? I downloaded the font change ages ago with the custom icons from http://emikoffxi.livejournal.com/ along with the self install program for the .dat changes but haven't update it since I got in in 09 when the last update was applied.

I said yes, and now I'm getting this error after putting in disks 1 and 3: "Error 1310.Error writing to file: C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\Final Fantasy Xi\FFXi.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory.

And then another error when I hit ignore, and then I hit ignore again and it's continuing. Hope my entire install doesn't get fucked up.

The issue wherein the rate of activation was lower than intended for the "Set: Augments elemental resistance spells" effect of the white mage's Empyrean +2 Armor set.

This looked interesting, more 0 damage procs with barspells.

Yeah, ~1900's on rabbits in terrigan with, ~1400 without. Only 2-3 trials each though, no WS kills.

I figured out what was causing it. Close any other programs you have that might have been interacting with ffxi. I had Cheat Engine up and that was apparently making it so that the update couldn't delete ffxi.dll

Most probably Cover, because mentioning merits for Shield Bash would be pointless.
