Netflix changing price and plans

I just gotta say though, their TV selection is pretty awesome. Been catching up on Futurama and almost jizzed myself when I saw the classic X-Men and Spiderman cartoons added recently. Just give me Seinfeld, Friends, The Simpsons, and Batman the animated series via streaming and I will die a happy man.

The thing that most upsets me, is I have an iPad/PS3/Tablet/Phone/Whatever that streams Netflix, so yeah I could go back to torrenting or go to redbox, but putting downloaded files onto those different devices is such a bitch

Physically putting a DVD in a drive and hearing those little motors whirr while I fiddle with menus makes me feel like a fucking caveman.

I don't see how its any diff than watching a Music Video on youtube (that's not hosted by the owners) or watching clips or shows not hosted by the owner, either.

I didn't say everyone needed to follow it. It's my own personal thing. D: I don't have beefs when youtube takes stuff down though.

In TV series on netflix, doesn't the next episode come on like 20 seconds after the last one played (generally that 20 seconds is the credits anyway)? At least that's how it works for me... they play until I tell them to stop. I don't see how that's different? Unless you're talking about stuff in a queue, which I haven't messed with.

Also, Netflix has the classic Mario cartoon, which is fucking boss. Had such a nostalgia trip...

wasn't just to you, was to anyone in general who is anti piracy.

Like this one girl I know thinks its ok to download music because the industry is horrible, lol but then bitches at me for downloading movies. There's plenty of them out there.

I understand, just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't trying to "preach" so much as just answer his question. There's a lot of people out there who don't feel right about d/l illegally (whether hypocritical or not) which is why this is a good option.

Also like headspace said, I hate watching shit on my computer. Netflix is 1000x more convenient about watching stuff not on the comp.

edit: fuck ya, thats why nerdraging and cry moar'ing. their selection is boss as fuck, lol. they have every nicktoon i want, except doug, angry beavers and maybe a few others that people born after 1987 wont know about. but, they have a good selection of anime, and other things that i can never find enough seeders for to DL. i dont even care about the movies. their selection sucks. they didnt have godfather 1, 2, city of god or even goodfellas on my 1st impression. thats enough to make me just want it for the tv selection and warrant their movies all that much

No Showtime shows anymore, Never any HBO shows. Select old seasons of network television (LOST comes on streaming and then is taken off sporadically).

Not to mention Sony and Disney are going to pull their shit from streaming soon.

And the movies are catalog titles, and sometimes not even good ones. New releases? Nah.

They probably realized that 90% of all people who regularly utilize instant stream receives one dvd on from their queue and holds it for 6 months to a year. Whereas the people who regularly utilize netflix dvds barely log onto instant stream
