I'm having hard time to imagine you really are missing the point here, but ok. To sell items to yourself is as of now pretty much the only way to transfer items between your characters, unless you get a second account or ask someone to hold them for you. I gave up cooking on my mule, because the materials were simply taking too much space and transfering them was too troublesome, It has nothing to do with managing your inventory poorly.

Didn't say anything to the contrary. Point being that if you really want to hold on to more than 330 items, maybe you should re-evalute what you're holding on to.

It also ties into the lack of AH and with it the lack of a price history. It's a chore in and of itself to figure out what you should sell and for how much and what you should NPC/chuck.

In my case it's particularly difficult because I've been leveling every craft but alc and cooking so besides the fact that there are simply way too many items in the game(and their +123s) so many recipes require 3-5 different items that I actually find a use for almost all of the junk I collect.

The game certainly isn't convenient or "user-friendly" in the slightest. Everything can be done, currently, but everything could also be done much, much better with even minor fixes. I'd love to see a price history, vendor trash and other such "advances"; I'd also like to see craft-materials extremely streamlined (read: lessened) and would love to see dyes simply added to an end-product instead of having to be made for individual parts, but who knows what'll happen. Everyone has money anyway, so I really don't feel bad about shelving my crafting jobs until they get around to adjusting how everything is done. I'm almost glad I eschewed leveling physical jobs since I'll get to spend so much time hacking and slashing away when the update hits.
