I have Lux Pugio, STR Thokcha and Triplus.
Is Lux/Thokcha best combo of those three for both THF and DNC? (can I throw away Triplus?)

I know it has been answered a couple times, but I just want to verify. For Relic MNK/Shijin WS build
Hands Hachiryu better than AF2+2
Neck is Justiwhatever Torque, not Elemental gorget
Waist is some DEX belt, not BB or Prosilio or Gorgetbelt
Is this correct? Someone was attempting to tell me gorget crap was better, but I feel they are full of shit.
Almost done with my BRD TP set and was hoping to get some insight on what's a better piece to TP in for the Body slot(both in and out of Abyssea, if that matters)
TP set as of now for reference:
Spoiler: show
So my question is: Bard's Justaucorps +2 or Byakko Augmented Kirin's Osode w/ DW+3% Crit. Rate+3% Attack+7 (or perhaps even Suzaku Augmented w/ DA+3% Crit. DMG+3% Attack+7)? Keep in mind the new Military Parade is +10 to melee stats now, too.
I have nq adaberk with stp +3 and 1 DA, but why would that be better? Wouldn't the 3% DA from Toci win out consider it also has more STR and DEX while not much less attack and accuracy?
And I have heard AF3+2 body is great for when killer effect applies. However, is there a % on how much it boosts the damage? I checked wiki and it seems to imply 25%, which would make it by far the best body, but is that right?
Thank you.
Ele belt vs. Cuchulain's Belt? for Metsu
Cuchu
For a DRK using Fulgurante (OA2-4 Great Sword) for Resolution spam, what's the best grip? Pole at doesn't help any with meleeing with this weapon, so was wondering if Uther, Sword, or Claymore grips were better.
the ryunohige vs gungnir debates i've seen in the past have always hinged on AM3 being up full time or not, but in the end its situational and both are excellent weapons. for the the 99 versions, with ryunohige having Drakesbane dmg +30% on it does that pretty much make it a clear winner with or without AM3? i suppose a truly accurate answer will have to wait and see how much they upped the ODD rate on 99 relics, but i feel 30% + DB dmg is hard to compete with
For some reason I always had it in my head that kikoku would be a better dot weap than kannagi, but given aftermath rates (vw wings) odd usually always up on kannagi
anyone know the math in terms of strictly dot kikoku vs kannagi assuming kannagi's aftermath? Which one wins out?
Also if you were doing something weird like melee rng you might be better off with ruinator if you can merit it lol. It might even do more than last stand...
I believe the crit rate bonus doesnt carry between ranged/melee weapons. Claymore doesnt work for ranged.
However, I'm fairly sure it's the "norm" for weapons to apply to each other. iirc, Fudo applied to both hands, as does kidney dagger.
I beleive KS30 (destroyers/senj/heartsnatcher etc) were unique at the time as they didnt apply to the other weapon.
Disclaimer: this is half remembered info from about 3 years ago, I can't say for 100% certainty if it's right or not.
Also for the most part trial weapons seem to be breaking that "rule" as well
