Its not super accurate tho because QA and TA will decrease a boost from DA (QA will also very very marginally decrease a boost of TA).

How I do a full calculation?

I just got Ganesha's mask, should I be TPing in that instead of my Tantra Crown +2 (I have the whole set +2). Also, Melee Gloves or Athos's Gloves (or something else?) for Shijin? While I'm asking likely stupid questions, I currently use Aias Bonnet for Shijin. Would a WS damage Anwig be the best bet (I have an NQ Shura head and not much gil to +1 it, haha), or is NQ Ocelemoh my best bet for the head slot?

I merited TA, because its nice to have it more often if i'm just running in and out for hate control, and I tend to use SA first when I'm on fulltime, so by the time SA cools down, and gets used, TA is up again too.

And merit TA since it's too difficult to NOT have hate each time the timer is ready vs TA which you can actually take advantage of the reduction whenever ta is availiable.

Stacked Exenterator does very good damage. Especially TA, as the tradeoffs are so small.

Exenterator doesn't stack very well with sa/ta last I heard so why would you bother stacking it? It's like the polar opposite of mercy/rudra when it comes to that.

For a given setup outside Abyssea:

Avg dmg per melee round: 208

Dmg per TA round: 710
Dmg gained by solo TA: 502
Cost: 120 delay

Dmg for solo Exen: 1260
Dmg for TA Exen: 1838
Dmg gained by TA+WS: 578
Cost: 60-120 delay

So worst case (poor stacking of JA+WS), you're gaining a fair bit of damage for the same delay cost. Best case (good stacking of JA+WS) you gain that damage for significantly less delay. And that doesn't even count the delay cost of dropping haste gear for solo SA/TA.

Also for this particular setup:

Dmg gained by solo SA: 532
Dmg gained by SA+WS: 578 (same as TA)

So for SA the damage difference is smaller, but you still have the opportunity to significantly reduce the delay cost. (DE gains more from stacking with SA, but has a slightly lower final WS damage.)


Compared to Rudra's (changing weapon in spreadsheet):

Dmg gained by solo TA: 566
Dmg gained by solo SA: 464

Dmg gained by TA+Rudra: 984
Dmg gained by SA+Rudra: 1226

The gain enough here is great enough that it's a no-brainer, though TA+Rudra's is only a small bit ahead of TA+Exenterator (1822 vs 1760).

In general, the damage gain in stacking Exenterator is kind of small (especially compared to the gain seen with Rudra's), however it's combined with significant reductions in delay costs, so should usually be worth using. The only question is the potential losses from trying to get SA/TA timers and TP sync'd up (my spreadsheet doesn't really model that issue very well).


Also, inside Abyssea:

Avg dmg per melee round: 611

Dmg gained by solo TA: 1022
Dmg gained by TA+Exen: 1459
Dmg gained by TA+Evis: 948

Dmg gained by solo SA: 1100
Dmg gained by SA+Exen: 1482
Dmg gained by SA+Evis: 1222


Stacking Exenterator inside Abyssea gains you a substantial amount of damage over solo SA/TA. Evisceration doesn't get nearly that boost with SA, and actually loses damage with TA compared to solo TA. For total WS damage, Evis is ~100 points ahead of Exen when stacked with SA, and Exen is ~150 points ahead of Evis when stacked with TA. At that point you have to start comparing various combinations of when to use SA/TA and WS, and that's beyond the scope of this.

So the above summary should hold whether inside or outside Abyssea, though I'd be less concerned about the timer/TP sync inside Abyssea.

-- Inside Abyssea, that seems possible; outside Abyssea, no.

SA Exenterator - Ambusher's
-- 10 agi = 8.5 base damage for all hits; 5 dex = 5 base damage for the first hit only
-- 4% crit damage on top of base 14%, applied to first hit only
-- Given first hit base damage of 336, 114% would be 383, 118% would be 396.5
-- 4% crit damage is thus the equivalent of +13.5 base damage
-- Athos thus gives the first hit +18.5 base damage, while Ambusher gives all 5 hits +8.5 damage for an effective net of +42.5
-- There's enough difference there that gear changes shouldn't substantially influence which is better

TA Exenterator - Same analysis as above, but without the 5 dex contributing to base damage for Athos. Ambusher's wins.

With Supernal as main, all three of the others are near identical. Oneiros would win on demons if the hidden Demon Killer effect is valid.

Lux, however, appears to be a stronger overall mainhand when combined with either Oneiros or Triplus. Triplus appears to be a smidge better with most variations I could come up with, unless, again, you're vs demons.
