You said AF1 is always better, I pointed out a situation where it's not. It had nothing to do with my choice of gear in that particular set. I also gave my reasoning for not using AF1 body in that set. I do use AF1 body in my DD sets as appropriate.

Well that was interesting... and ya know not everyone has usukane body or can remake there ACP one. Especially when there are much much more useful things you can put on it for other jobs than upping your dps by a couple of precent while you are in a hybrid evasion set lol

I also have this set that goes all-out on maximizing evasion and dAGI but it's not something I really use right now. Contemplating using FULL USUKANE for the second set; 1% less haste but more store TP and the attack is nice. The two sets perform pretty much identically from a DPS standpoint though so I may not bother with the extra inv-2 of Usu hands and legs.

Seem to remember somewhere that sometimes Def+ can reduce more damage than PDT? Is that true, and if so, should I be using:
Darksteel Cap+1 or Genbu Kabuto (13Def 15Vit vs 2PDT)
Darksteel Mittens +1 or Mhands (15Def 10Vit vs 2PDT)

Hoping DST stuff wins for inv reasons.

Don't know about hands, but for head... Why not just get Kabuto augmented, can get up to -3% PDT... That would blow the cap out of the water.

Hes not pulling any card. You said that AF3+2 body is ALWAYS inferior to af1 inside abyssea when no. Its not. If you are getting Haste + marches, af3+2 body is better.

Assuming Haste/March x2 in Abyssea, what does the optimal TP set look like, then?

Iga +2/Iga or Rancor/Suppa/Brutal
Iga +2/Dusk +1/Epona's/Rajas
Atheling/Twilight/Iga +2 or Haidate/Usukane or Iga +2

If using Rancor, use the second choice for legs/feet provided you have good STP and critdmg augments on the Haidate. Iga +2/Usukane is slightly ahead when using Iga Erimaki.

Right on, thanks for that... although given my luck with Haidate augments thus far, it'd probably just be faster to make Usukane feet x.x

Related: Finishing Harp within the next week or so, at this point I've got March+1, Minuet+3 instruments.. March1 or Minuet5 with Daurdabla?

Edit: Somebody updated wiki since last time I looked and apparently you can overwrite with proper instruments once 3 songs are applied, so if that's the case, NVM!

Still have accuracy issues on MNK against Nidhogg, so I'm imagining anything tough outside Abys will present the same issue, in which case Tantra should win.

I was Roar'd every time I put on more than two buffs though, so that may have had something to do with it.

Yes. Im glad someone else noticed this.

If you have certain amount of buffs, wyrms will very likely(altho not definately) use a roar and dispel your shits(in abyssea)

After fighting 300 hearts from isgebind, i can almost say theres a certain behavior regarding buffs <> roar

Prob +2 for impetus up and MAYBE osode for when its down if your acc isnt an issue.

For Victory Smite, better NQ shura head with STR +5 et WS DMG +1% augments or Anwig Salade with STR +4 AGI +4 WS acc +15 and QWS DMG +2% ? Assuming no acc problems.
