Ok i bought those pieces, kinda bummed about the loss of att and DA, was hoping to increase my DA in TP set not reduce it to lend to my overall chance of hitting twice per round. Figured with /WAR I could get about +20-25ish DA which would I think using the formula would add around 13-14% chance to 'DA' to my OAT rate pushing it to like 60% instead of the base 45% OAT rate, using Byrth's formula. But 3% loss from Atheling is probably only like 1-1.5% loss of overall 'DA' rate with OAT I suppose.

Does the Rancorous Mantle have the same damage taken + effect as the collar? I'm not clear on whether that's a drawback of "Tonberry's Grudge" or if it's just a hidden effect on the collar.

You should be fine tbh, it's a good choice for THF. Just be wary of anything that has HP based or throat stab type moves such as Sobek, Cirein-Croin, Tonberries etc. as you can find yourself getting one-shotted.

Gales is a no-brainer, if using a martial knife you dont need smiting blow and are better off with the two MAB atmas, iirc. Squibs do resist magic damage, do the crabs next to them instead. If you have a mule (assuming you do) you can pull both sets of crabs in one pull unless your pc/laptop explodes with that much stuff going on
