Delay impacts WS frequency. Critdmg is only 3%. It's not better than a Thokcha.

Depends how much you like sam !
I just finished amano 99 and I really enjoy it, Accuracy seems to be an issue during Higher vw/Legion so I'd think that favor amano.
Event with capped accuracy where you can keep AM3 full time(or very close to) Masamune 99 should win (lower tier VW come in mind)
For run around event like nyzle/ein I guess they are about even ?

Is it unrealistic to build an ADL set as a WHM?

I was fighting it the other night and thinking, that maybe all the HM Skill and Cure Potency in the world doesn't mean shyt if you spend precious time completely stunned/silenced/paralyzed/etc from ADL. Then I started thinking about what sort of resist set to use since I seem to have gotten most of the enfeebs at once. >< 4-5 fights I think, and they were either incredibly easy and fast or OMGWTF. I got the cape from one of the first fights and ended up putting it on; and while I had a variety of medicines with me, it seemed like stun prevents...well me from doing something like using an echo drop so I can cure the melee.

Then I started wondering if elemental resist sets even work anymore, since the game seems to have changed so much, and thought maybe I should ask. I was thinking a combination of thunder resist/cure potency/pdt/haste, not necessarily in that order, rather optimizing the slots to produce the highest numbers for that combination.

Over thinking it??

Nothing else is really going to help. Have remedies on hand, I suppose. You won't be resisting stun, only thing you can really do is figure out how to work around it.

No Oneiros yet. On /WAR, does Aluh Jambiya beat Yataghan (w/ Crit damage +6%) outside of Abyssea?
