What's DRG's best polearm in Nyzul uncharted? Assuming no Mythic of course, and embrava full time(so always engage a mob with 100+ TP at start). Is OAT still ideal? Or empy relic pulls ahead? If empy/relic pulls ahead what level is needed?

question about mekira +1 and mostly my entropy/cata sets. Using it on proc day vs using it on a non proc days. Do people just use it fulltime even on non proc days? Cata, Entropy, Reso, ukko's etc? Having my sc adjusted by the guy who does it for me would be a complete pain in our asses. I'm not even sure if he would know how to set it up for proc/non proc days. Hence my question about mekira +1 and just using it period for ws's.

I use it for ws regardless. Partly cause I'm too lazy to spellcast for it. And too lazy to do the math to figure out if it wins with but not without and then get said without helm

Let me preface this by saying, this is not a "which parses higher" question. I have a pretty good idea of both Bravura and Ukon's damage potentials.

Lately, I've been working on other jobs, mostly BST and my mage jobs, and have been neglecting a solid DD job (my WAR). I've managed to pick up a lot of good stuff, like Mekira Meikogai, Porthos Byrnie, Phorcys equips, Phasmida Belt, Ogier's Breeches, and such. But I haven't really been paying attention to gearing WAR yet. But as soon as I finish Guttler, I'm planning on turning my focus to WAR.

Mainly, my question here is, should I go for Bravura or Ukon first, and how would that affect my gear options? Ukon seems nice for the epeen parses, and Bravura seems nice for the utility (and still being respectable in the parse with Upheaval).

I want to take advantage of things like Mekira Meikogai and Porthos Byrnie, but not really sure where to start in getting my WAR back into shape. Last time my WAR was halfway decent was when ridills were popular.

I don't intend for my WAR to be a one-trick-VW-pony, where that's all I use it for. I mean, I should be able to use it for VW if that's what the situation calls for, but I have other VW-useful jobs. It should be a WAR that can be used in multiple situations, including lolAbyssea, Legion, ADL, or other future events.

Porthos doesn't really have a use on WAR

Bravura allows you to wear less PDT and keep more haste on, but that's a very limited use. Are you going to solo on WAR? No. In terms of comparison between the two, Ukon is still going to be ahead unless you're doing something where AM isn't activated the majority of the fight and activating it takes awhile (haste spell only, etc)

Obviously, Ukon takes the cake and rapes it any time you maintain AM3.

And, nothing touches Ragna WAR in a short duration zerg with MS up.

Or would a different combination be better? Like Phorcys Body+Lancer's Legs. Wondering if the added STR/DEX for the WSC would beat out the extra damage/attack.

For THF, which I only use for farming +2 items or empy items. Atm I am using Supernal Knife and Lux Pugio. Would Aluh Jambiya plus one of the first two I mentioned be a better combination? I have no intention of making a STR Thokcha or Mandau or Twashtar.

Yes. Supernal would be the first one to go, so Aluh/Lux.

Whether it'd be your most cost effective upgrade, hard to say - at least it's half the cost of a STR Thokcha with no additional work.

Well, given that he's asking about a 1-hit WS in the first place, and DRG doesn't have much double attack, it's not going to matter much in this *specific* case.

Option 1, shouldn't even be close. In general WSDMG does far more then a few stats to WSC. A few exceptions can be found with the new 100% mod WSs.
