Outside is really hard to tell tbh. In sweet spot for dDEX ( going from 35 to 50 with byakko) byakko will win even w/o augments. When DEX from byakko is giving you close to nothing then H legs is a clear winner.

On that topic, anyone manage to think up a good MNK dDEX build for shit with 105-110 AGI values? I messed with it but found it would extremely gimp damage.

For victory smite monk, Byakkos with STP+2 crit damage +3% or hachiryu pants?

i use the byakko augment so to save 1 inventory space after selling hachiryu

Ah. Yes. Forgot Hachi Hands. I think the non AF3+2 body is what's really killing the build for me anyway - without it you're looking at +22 accuracy. Hopefully elfs get 10+dex from 90-99

Both sets cap haste @ 26%, so it's basically 5 dagger skill 18 dex 8 str 9 attk 12 acc vs 5 str 5 dex 5 agi 10 attk 3% DW.

I'm going to assume the 1st set is vastly superior when acc isn't capped, but let's assume acc is capped with both sets and we do not need anymore acc.

Ideally you wanna go with 4/5 AF3+2 with Zelus Tiara. Shouldnt need any Timarli pieces as that would just put you over haste cap.

You should be able to cap haste and keep X-hit (I think 6 hit is rated as better these days? not 100% sure) without using Timarli pieces; so the +2s should serve you better.

I'd personally go with the prior. Outside abyssea there's a decent chance the dex value will be giving you a decent boost in critical hit rate. Also you probably have a 7% proc rate instead of a 2%. Or a 3.5% instead of a 1%.

It should. But your anwig should be agi/dex/wsdmg /crit dmg

I would assume 5 DEX / 5 AGI, since they directly modify SA/TA (i think you get 1 point of base weapon damage per stat?)
