For a ghetto Penta Thrust build: Lancer's Mezail +1 or Perle Salade?

I've heard on Penta Thrust attack is more useful than straight STR, but I dunno how to math it out. Help?

Skewer is not generally better than Penta outside. You'd have to be below 1.3 cRatio *and* crit twice (not really likely outside of Abyssea) for Skewer to win.

And at that point you probably might as well just use Wheeling Thrust.

Question: Killing Byakko for scraps and such and ended up making Haidate and Heca hands +1 with +4 crit dmg on both. While Heca are pretty self explanatory, would the B Haidate be best for tp and/or ws in any cases for War/Nin/Mnk?

Yep, what he said. Although if you primarily use blm as a procing job only it's not a bad idea to make the swap. The main reason I say that is because even now JOL/AV item prices are tanking. They're really going to drop @ 95 I imagine so you may be able to sell for 6-7m now, and in a couple months buy for 4-5m.

What is "Element Magic+4"? Does that mean elemental magic skill +4? if so then yeah, stick with novio

The TP Bonus Fusetto is really only good with Rudra's, so it's only good with Daka +2 or Twashtar main-hand.

Yeah, it's the best offhand for that. That's actually how I justify using it in Dynamis, because I do so much of my damage with Aeolian Edge.

So for blade: hi 2nd +1 crit rate earring or brutal. Assuming hi is 15% as tested that should exactly put me at 100% with my current atma/gear
