Best brew WS for Isgebind that's not Wildfire? I was thinking either Sanguine Blade or Cataclysm (based on my wife's jobs, she's brewing it [war/mnk/whm/smn/dnc/sam/drg]). Also, what would the ideal atma combination be? I figured those WS would probably end up doing the most damage. I was thinking Cosmos + Banisher + smiting blow/ultimate for atma combination.

I don't know why you don't kill normal. I tanked it on my war with my mule pre ukon np.

Why does everyone always say that "why dont you just kill it normally?" After you fight something 2-5 times its gets old. You are gonna rack up cruor just from doing random stuff. Might as well use it, plus its speeds up the process tremendously. And i doubt im the only one that rages over the para aura. that alone is enough to brew it.

I suppose, but I just honestly didn't think the mob was all that bad to kill.

Its not bad to kill. But again, need 75 hearts from it and more if you or your group is doing more than one gun/gkt/gswd, why bother keep doing it normally. Its not like the thing even drops +2 items.

For charged whisker, have people figured out the formula for it yet? I have been trying to play around with my sets recently but not having as much luck figuring out what to wear as I would like. Is there a confirmed optimal set/atma setup?

Yes it is an easy duo but as mentioned before 75 is a lot and more then one person doing that stage makes it very long winded. It takes about 7(guesstimating)? min to duo 1 as opposed to brewing ~6+ in about the same amount of time while cleaving trains for added pops <if lucky>, really it comes down to, if you have multiple KI holders.

As for the original question i think cata is best brew WS on it, edge seems like a poor choice and if you cant brew multiples ull get less kills in due to having to lock brew and unlock etc
I use cosmos ultimate and smiting blow<not sure if its the best combo tho> and can safely do 6, think it does around 12k per dragon, not great but ur hitting 3 dragons so technically thats 36k per ws! lol
tried seg blade <wtih wrong atmas> on blu/rdm once and it was doing 9k with just ultimate as a contributing atma. thats all iv tried, GL

the formula should be up on wiki? it is dex based, optimal would be dex > int during burst affinity and iirc mab = int? someone else can prolly give more accurate info on this. As for atmas the two lightning based ones lion + blinding horn + ultimate(?) are the "best" unless im forgetting an atma

Atheling/Soil/Ambusher's/Lithe

MKD has Agi+4 Dex+4 crit dmg+2% ws dmg+2%

Besides the obvious Hachi feet... What else can I change?

af3+2 legs beat out teal slops? I was messing around with it yesterday and I was getting slightly more with teal, or is there another reason besides a slight difference in damage?
I was also seeing teal saio beating out loki's too, but regardless I'm working on morrigan's.

With or without BA? DEX has a weaker modifier than INT and MAB without BA up, so an INT/MAB piece will beat a DEX piece easily. With BA, Loki/EmpLegs should be winning with a decent set.

Augmented Seiryu's Kote (even normally, they should win in abyssea), drop soil belt for sveltesse or anguinus belt, soil gorget for hope torque. Also I think augmented legs, either ASA or Haidate, should win over Ambusher's hose, but I'm not positive.

Also: does the bonus from emp+1/2 feet work with dark shot for Leaden? I believe so, but wanted to double-check.

For brewing banisher beats ultimate. Also ultimate will most likely beat GC non brewed

Hard to say without knowing more of your setup really. Well really approximate dex/int mab and if you using any and how much tp bonus stuff
