Is there a difference in Gorgets? For instance will Shadow be better vs. Soil for something like Primal Rend and Onslaught or would results be the same?

Maschu +2 or Widowmaker? I'm almost sure Maschu +2 wins, the extra damage and Ukkos should outperform 5 STR 5 VIT and the increased DA damage (which, as I was told here, is minimal).

Question: For a DRK/SAM using a Caladbolg (430 delay) and a regain Moonshade earring, how much Store TP should I aim for to often get 100 TP in 6 hits (including weaponskill)? I currently use +16 in gear, but could swap in as much as 8 more, in exchange for 2 DA (Rose strap vs Pole grip) and 4 STR, 4 DEX, and 8 Attack (Hoard Ring (Tyrant Ring once it's cheaper) vs Excelsis Ring).

Naw, I showed that TP Bonus dagger works in either hand. I also showed that WS damage dagger only works in the main hand.

personal experience:

stay with 7 hit outside abyssea.....6hit is too painful to build and makes your WS pretty shitty, drk chops fast now anyway. 7hit for calad is no shame

however if u insist, you need 37ish STP + SJ sam to do 6 hit, including wearing the same gear for WS, moonshade can act as STP3-5 depending if LR is up, or u have marches

Going to go out on a limb and say bar Abbarieatos(sp?) 6 hit will be better assuming 5 hit requires sacrifices in normal Tp set/food.

Regain moonshade is too convenient for things like VW where you can't melee for TP, even if it's not optimal for damage.

taint's right. for dd purposes the tp bonus earring is the most viable. You won't ever get legit use out of such minimal regain unless you're standing around doing nothing forever. Personally I'm never inactive that long for VW or anything.
