I'm like 99% sure that FC can DA, and that you can force it on all the targets at once using Warrior's Charge.
dunno, I've FC'd a lot with Apoc on and I've never seen one that was justifiably higher damage than the rest. Especially under Mighty Strikes, you'll see 4500-5500 but not 6500-9500 which would make more sense. Rather, while sometimes you oneshot and sometimes you put them at 1-5%, if I'm cleaving 20mobs and the damage under MS is within 1000 of itself then of those 20 mobs if DA/TA could proc you would expect to see one of them take a lot more damage than the rest.
I don't see why FC couldn't DA or TA. Sonic Thrust definitely can. I know for certain I've also had a 1TP return FC, but I also seem to remember that if you miss the main target and hit the additional ones, you get 0TP return.

I didn't build the set, it was given to me as the "optimal" set for War. Having barely played (all but one of my jobs are still 90, including war), I didn't rebuild it and simply compared it for argument's sake.
One of the first things that made the set look bad to me. When I get some time, I'll restructure around that suggestion and compare again. I was hoping someone who was using a variation of the Radiant set would have one to show where it stood apart from the Armada set.Originally Posted by Churchill

I sware a few times I've had DA/TA procs (significantly higher damage) on additional mobs on Sonic Thrust. That said I could be mistaken. Well if I'm not 95 on WAR by the time I've broken these trial weapons (lolProc job) I'll go record some FCs (And Sonics whist I'm at it, drg needs exp too).
Wouldn't be that hard to test. Find a mob that will not survive the first hit of the ws (can just wittle down for ease). Then find some that will. To make the math a bit easier get something you know you can cap pdif/fstr on. Force TA/DA AOE ws and do a little dmg math. Or hell even easier get a ws with a low ftp like 1 so you don't even really have to do math. Since at capped pdif/fstr there is now way 1 hit would do double or more another
Of course you could check DA/TA on the main first which would be alot easier. Just grab something that can survive ws single hit definitely. Put up shadows force DA/TA ws check tp

tp return from jishnu is like a 3-hit ws. you can miss the first hit entirely and still get 1-2 tp return.
now my question: for blue mage, at what point do you stop stacking skill for physical spells and add more stats. what are the tiers and how does it effect it?
