Is there any reason to use Timarli Dastanas over Dusk +1 on DRG?
I did forget all those, but even with them in place:
Sekkanoki: WSDMG wins, 10%
Haga: 300TP(3.65) vs 200TP(3.15*1.1 = 3.465, 3.275*1.1 = 3.6025 w/ moonshade) If you assume less than ~33 over-tp, TPBonus wins.
Unstacked: 200tp(3.15) vs 100(2.375*1.1 = 2.6125), 225(3.275) vs 125(2.819*1.1 = 3.1), TPBonus stays ahead until ~233 Base TP, -25 if using moonshade.
It's closer than I had thought, but TPBonus still in the lead unless usng Sekkanoki.
Barring supertanking (which I'd generally look at Ochain for over Aegis, though any decent shield probably suffices), you could honestly ask the same question of Aegis PLD these days. That said, Bravura can maintain capped PDT, MDT, BDT, or even all of the above while retaining its 6-hit and capped haste and has substantially higher accuracy than Ukon will in such a set, so while you're losing Ukko's you're gaining white damage and WS frequency. Eva/def down will further aid Bravura along with the rest of your melees.
You should really factor in DA
This
At least 18% DA and now im not sure about elemental belt gorget ( need math because its pretty low fTP favoring gorget/belt but high WSC favoring STR). Ganeshas mala is also an option probably (I want to see an epeen 8hit Shoha :D)
EDIT: Also 10%WSD GKT has 6higher base damage.
EDIT: Also Dust wings 300TP at VW.
best neck/earring for monk now? currently using rancor/merman's (been too lazy to get wotg done, but i'm planning on working on that soonish). wanna say i saw some talk about calcitrant being up there, but i have no idea where that falls. assuming some variant of moonshade is still on top, but i have no idea what augments to take on that either.
i'm assuming faith/bruiser's combo lags behind now, right? only reason i second guess that is the latter has jumped to like 1.5M over the last few weeks, and i'm honestly at a loss as to why; i understand it pushes base up by 1DMG with faith torque (assuming 8/8 and AF3 hands), but that can't possibly beat the other available options, right?
Is that assuming faith is doing anything to accuracy? I can't think of a time I wasn't capped acc on mnk ever, voidwatch is all 5min zergs that you can fulltime stalwarts/acc buffs.
For PUP,
Should I invest in an Ocelomeh Harness for Victory Smite/ SP? I like the stats but I am a bit hesitant losing all the attack and accuracy bonuses from the cirque body +2.
Also, on that note, does any PUP use Alcide's harness +1?
Based on Ziel Charm's numbers, I'm assuming that it's an uncapped accuracy scenario. I'm not sure exactly what stats Taint plugged in when he did the comparison, though. If I was to guess, I'd assume it was the "Qilin?" button on Kine's spreadsheet as it's basically an imaginary hard mob, and it's unlikely that stalwart's was ticked on.
I guess my question is for VS, is it worth giving up 20 accuracy and attack for 11+ STR offered by the harness on PUP?
He's quoting my numbers. I'm pretty sure these were made after it was confirmed that Calcitrant was +5 kick damage. Assumption on the outside Abyssea set were that the player had 90% hit rate without neck/ear. The comparison was run against Bukhis, but with evasion tweaked to get that exact value. (Qilin? is for when I want to push accuracy below 70%.)
The original post explained that the reason Calcitrant lost in the second comparison was that it had no accuracy on it. The raw attack provided by Faith/Agasaya/Calcitrant provides a very small boost to overall DPS, and is easily overwhelmed by any accuracy needs.
I know this has been asked before but on things with ridiculous agi (Voidwatch) Byakko's (4% crit damage) vs. Ambusher's Hose for Blade: Hi? Same question for inside abyssea please. And if possible show the math, because it's a heated argument between me and an lsmate.
Or Shura with +agi on them...
