Like say Brulo's atma doesn't work on fire elemental ws it works on all ws with fire skillchain element... which for some weird reason Wildfire isn't . Now that DRKs have a decent WS in Resolution, I was wondering if there were better options for a 3rd atma than Razed Ruins. I currently use VV, Razed Ruins, and Apoc, and was wondering if it might be better to use Alpha and Omega (10% TA and 50 attack), or Griffon's Claw (10 great sword skill and WS damage +20%) instead of Razed Ruins, in the case of capped accuracy.

I'm aware Razed Ruins is still probably better, but wanted to hear a few opinions.

Currently 3 dagger options, Kila+2 (eva, will +3 it and +4 it soon as well), Triplus, twilight.

I know I'm in need of some decent trial ones such as STR and emp, but for now those are my options.

Also for the new dagger ws:

Crudelis belt: STR5 AGI5

Anguinus Belt: ACC/ATK+15 double+1%

or elemental belt?

Also gorget for new ws or another neck?

I'm merely pointing out that it shouldn't be assumed that the enhancement doesn't affect physicals, given that SE doesn't necessarily use the same wording we use and that there is at least something to suggest the contrary- unless of course it has already been tested (and I don't think it has).

Several things have that "Enhances Elemental WS damage" text. They all enhance WS fTP, but they aren't all 0.05. Actually, a friend tested Imperial Neza at 0.1 fTP back in the day, so that page may be entirely wrong as well.

It's similar to Seismic Axe, which gives +0.1 fTP to WSs with Earth-based properties (iirc).

Or Atma of the Burning Effigy.

When I checked Atma of Echoes or Atma of the Hateful Stream I forgot to check it using a non-elemental WS because I took it at face value again.

So it looks like Blade: Shun beats Blade: Hi outside Abyssea, and about the only thing keeping Kannagi above other options (save Kikoku) outside is the aftermath. So where's that leave WoE holders? Outside would it just be a better idea to do 2x STR Katanas (or are there better options?) and do Shun, or am I looking at this wrong and Hi is still viable?

What's better for raw damage? Apocalypse or Ragnarok? And roughly how large is the margin?

Fairly certain it's Ragnarok by a decent amount now but want to double check before I plow currency into it since I already have an Apoc.

Obviously Apoc offers greater versatility but I'm just talking from a damage standpoint.

EDIT: Just noticed that even using Resolution, Ragnarok is a huge PITA to 6 hit still. Ugh, does it even beat Apoc outright?

I had 7-hit Rag edging out Apoc by a few % at 95. 6-hit wasn't worth it at the time, doubt it is now either.

It would be really intersting on Tier6 lvl mobs. Even with max temps I parsed as low as 86% ACC with a perfect Apoc setup on Ig-Alima. (40ish more ACC then a Rag setup)

Well I already have an Apoc and obviously in some circumstances Apoc is going to win. So for those scenarios I'd just switch weapon.

I'm more interested in if Ragna wins in the majority of scenarios or failing that, how many worthwhile scenarios. If it's minimal or not at all, then I'll just grab Mandau or Aegis or something.

But I reckoned it was slightly ahead of Apoc before Resolution came out, just not enough to justify me getting it. Now Resolution should be the deal breaker.

Really, I just want confirmation it isn't a waste to get it considering I already have Apoc. Or for someone to tell me it's stupid. Either way works.

I wouldn't bother. Everyone I know with both sticks to Apoc unless they are just messing around.

Looking for alternatives to Hachi legs/feet. I use legs on SAM for Fudo, and legs/feet for Namas. I also use legs/feet on RNG for Namas.

The Avant+1 legs/feet look to be good alternatives for SAM, and AF3+2 legs for RNG seem to be a good replacement with true shot.

Any suggestions?

They're pretty close to equal, but Pandinus is also the best WF/LS head, so you can carry just Pandinus and get inventory +1.
