Help picking VOIP service/provider (Ooma, Magicjack, G. Voice, whatever else)

I'd hesitated doing so until G. Voice announced it was staying free through 2012, my only complaints that are nowhere near worth paying for a house phone again are caller ID and local voicemail management, but the global spam filter and the ease of call blocking has made this place remarkably quiet lol.

Yeah, the benefits far outweigh the small things you lose. I don't even use a cell anymore, just use g.voice from my tablet when I'm mobile with a bt headset
