I think that may just be coincidence? I don't think I've ever seen the same WS/JA or magic spell proc twice in a row consecutively. I've seen it happen on the odd occasion where the same WS/JA/spell comes up again within the same fight, but not typically twice in a row, nothing that would indicate to me that the same weakness is good for multiple procs.
I haven't seen the same spell proc twice near each other yet, but I've seen a low probability event or two:
Spoiler: show
We get combo procs all the time, maybe there is something else to it.
We did an NM once and it seemed like the second time i did the spell that hit weakness it hit it again. It's possible it was someone else going at the same time I didn't pay great attention to it. But I was also pretty sure the Voidwatch NPCs had said something about how you can't hit a weakness too much or it will adapt and change. Of course that could also just be implying it only works once as well.
Can anyone confirm the number of active weaknesses on the mob at any given time? I'm 99% certain that the number of high vulnerabilities is always two, but I'm not sure about the normal ones. I think it's five or six?
+40 blue means it was a NQ GK trigger, and the +200 red was a HQ thunder trigger.
Ah, I see, must have been incredible luck/coincidence then as we had had no GK messages prior to me doing that.
Dunno if it's me, but I've yet to see a single tier-1 nuke proc.
From the other thread, I was told you can proc a weakness regardless of the status of the NM (casting/using a ws). Was doing pancimanci earlier with katana proc and I had to do a 2nd blade: ei (or something, had to cycle through whole list) to get a proc to occur.
So just asking again to be sure: can you proc when the mob is casting/using a ws?
You have magic finale listed under dark, but it's a light spell, not dark
Fixed, thanks!
Anyone find any blue magic or blood pact procs (or anything else) that aren't on the list yet? I'm still trying to figure out if it's all offensive blue magic or just a subset, and the same with BPs.
Also, still never seen an Empyrean/Mythic/Relic WS be chosen as a stagger to proc weakness, after something like 200 fights. Almost positive that they aren't included in the list of potential staggers.
I've yet to see a single WS be chosen also that isn't learned via skill or the WSNM quest, same for T5 nukes.
Main thing I want to know are exactly how many DRK spells can be procs, as according to my LS DRK w/ capped skill, they're a bitch to land on the T4 bosses. If Absorb-ACC ends up not being a trigger, may be more effective to have a BLM sub DRK instead to cover Absorbs instead since they have more gear for landing that kind of crap.
As for BLU, only seeing offensive magical spells working.
What's a real pain in the arse though are Automaton WS, wtf was SE thinking with adding those? Would make sense if they never nerfed Burattainos.....
[EDIT] Btw, you got Attonement in your WS list, which is a mythic one. Was that one you confirmed yourself, or did someone else claim it?
Someone else, I'll remove it. And yeah, I've also never seen T5 nukes proc, which I guess makes sense since they aren't even all in the game yet. Has anyone seen -ja nukes proc? Because the problem would be the same with those, and I'm pretty sure I've heard reports of -ja nukes proc-ing, though I don't remember for sure whether I've seen it myself. It'd be funny if Blizzaja and Thundaja were already potential procs and cock-blocking ice and lightning staggers occasionally.
And yeah, I know it's only offensive magic spells, but I posted a list earlier in this thread of all the offensive magical BLU spells and there are like 50 of them.
Ja can proc have it happen alot on the final spell and forgot to cast usually since its at the bottom of list
and when it proced everyone will "Ooooooooooooooo JA!"
so yes
as for T5.... didnt really pay attention, i will focus on that next time
AM2 happens alot too just to confirm, samer for SAN ninjitsu and rdm's bio 3 dia 3 etc...so that means merits can proc. same goes to blade bash, tomwhawk angon. However yet to see steal and mug proc (lol thf not welcomed to VW)
Cat2 JA/Spells been confirmed awhile ago as procs, which is annoying for some jobs as it means you want people respeccing their merits just to cover all bases. And yeah, -ja can proc as mentioned.
We've yet to get a single THF JA proc also. For some reason all the JA love goes to Emnity Douse, and Modus Veritas......which is impossible to land.
