Quick question for the Persona anime, do I have to had played the game beforehand to understand anything or can I just watch it no problem? I've played a Persona game but it wasn't 4 so I already understand the concepts of a persona/evoker.
Alright. Guess I'll give it a watch and see if I like it or not.
i thought it was okay as far as game adaptation goes, but the standard is a wee bit too low for that.
i'll probably follow it, but i didn't think it was any special, the fact that it threw in the ingame music and transition was nice touch though
Horizon: "What the fuck did I just watch?"
C cubed: I got very bored very fast and skipped around and found it to be very predictable so I'm not watching anymore.
Working: Of course going to watch this more as I remember the first season being good but this first episode I had to piece together everything about the characters and plots since I had forgotten a lot of it.
Kimi to boku: it seems okay for a first episode, I'll watch a couple more.
Puzzle: I watched the whole episode for some reason. Entire time I was all like: "Puzzles? ...really? puzzles..." I'll probably watch the second episode.
Chihaya: I bet it would have seemed boring as hell if I had read the plot before watching the first episode but it seemed okay to me, I'll continue watching.
Fate: I haven't seen yet. I've seen the fate/stay night run but nothing else besides that. Maybe I saw a movie or something related to the russian chick and them fighting, I can't really remember. I predict I'll probably watch the whole series though as I loved the first.
Is there any other shows that I'm missing? I know bakuman is airing but I don't really want to watch destiny subs but I'll probably give in eventually. Is Shana airing too? I didn't bother with the second season so I'll probably pass on a 3rd season. I haven't played persona either so i'll skip that too. Just saw boku ha pop up, I'll see if I like that one too. Were there any other shows worth watching this season?

Seems you like comedy, so try Ika Musume S2. Dunno if you watched the first season but it's a charming, light-hearted comedy. Very cute, too.
Tamayura is nice but I'd recommend watching the OVA first instead of the first episode since you'd miss a bunch (it's a flashback). 4-girl SoL anime but seems go somewhere unlike most SoL anime.
Persona 4 was awesome, pacing was great and the animation/art is amazing. I'm pleased MC isn't a drone, and if they can keep this up it'll be great. Huge grin during the first fight, so badass.
Watched a couple episode ones of stuff since a suitemate was watching them and I was supposed to be doing homework. Definitely looking forward to marathoning a lot of this stuff when the season finishes. Although I might wait until the blurays are out for stuff like Plots no Horizon: So Many Plots and Maken Ki. Also I'm planning on actually watching Fate/Zero as it airs.. which I don't normally do. (So far I think I've only done it for Index S2)
edit: Also, 1337 posts.
Spoiler: show
Only thing I recognized from the Person anime was the Velvet Room segment only this time instead of Elizabeth they got a hotter chick. I find it humorous that they kept the day transition style with the date/weather. Soundtrack is really good as well, I'm guessing Atlus always has good music no matter what they do cause I loved the Persona 3 OST.
Seconding the Horizon = what the fuck did I just watch?!
Chihaya, Puzzle, and MajiniKoi were all enjoyable. Watched all of Maken-Ki and I don't know why I actually did that.

Looks much better in the anime then the manga.. more so when it has a BD/DVD release
I love how retarded the filters look, I can't honestly tell if they do it intentionally.
It looks hilariously stupid, but at least it's not moonbeams that cover non-ecchi stuff as well. You'd think they'd just go ahead and censor stuff the way they did in B Gata H Kei.
Well they do it that way to just throw out right in your face... "GET THE DVD/BD VERSION IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS". If you just do a slight coverup or censoring that isn't obvious it won't get that message across as well.
Watched Persona 4 and loved it. Never played any of the games and had no problem getting adjusted to the setting, story, or characters. Very good pacing for what is a video game adaptation. That's the most difficult transition when going across media but it did it very well. High production values are also a plus. Will watch the 25 episode series.
Watched Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai and, while it wasn't as bad as I thought it was, it's still something I'm not going to enjoy. Like the art and animation and, surprisingly, the story is interesting (originally why I was interested in the series) but it's not a genre I enjoy. Out of curiosity for Ulmega, Gulky, and Zilong: How quickly does the comedy pick up and how important is the romance/love triangle/harem aspect?
Most of the music (if not all) was from the game. It's a pretty convenient OST cause of how P4 is generally played.
I hope it keeps up too, cause if P4 anime sucks I will be sad (even though I was fully expecting it to have problems). They cut out a lot of fluff from the game, and events seems to move forward a lot faster than in the game.
Boku wa Tomodachi starts off mildly entertaining, but the more you read the more you like the characters and dynamic. To me, it's kinda like School Rumble. I hated it until I knew the characters then suddenly it was the funniest shit ever. Not saying this will be the same as SR, as I haven't even read that much of the manga (cause there isn't a lot out yet). But yeah, I'd give it 3-5 episodes and if you aren't feeling it then drop it. The love triangle thing isn't really a thing in the manga. At least the main focus isn't where every girl is pining after a single dick.
I actually thought BTS was pretty comical. I love the character dynamics and am kinda pumped to watch EP2. Really just kinda holding on for Last Exile, Guilty Crown, and Coppelion to round out the fall though. DL'd persona but haven't watched it yet.
