k, Majikoi 2 is definitely not a good sign for where the series is going, I actually had decent hope for it with the first episode being nicely animated with not much fanservice.

Just finished marathoning Fate/Stay Night and Unlimited Blade Works so I could watch Fate/Zero without ruining them for me. Totally worth it. I like the darker tone in F/Z compared to F/S N, though UBW brought things into that mood as well. I've been watching with UTW's subs and they did a great job for the first two episodes. Looking forward to seeing how everything plays out up to the inevitable conclusion.

Also wasn't expecting a servant to bite it already in the second episode. No sparkles though, so Assassin probably isn't down for the count quite yet.

If it weren't for Bokurano or Grave of the Fireflies, I'd say it'd be the most depressing thing ever produced.

Mirai Nikki Ep1

This is really good. Ridiculous and melodramatic in a way, yet it all works out. Sure the series is nothing new, but neither is 95% of anything else we watch. it'll be exciting to see my favorite scenes animated. looking forward to next episode.

Now and Then, Here and There was kind of a carnival of depressing events, but Grave of the Fireflies definitely trumps it I think.

Hmm...

Madoka, Penguindrum, C:money and soul, and Ano Hana are some of my favorite. Usagi Drop is also amazing if you want something heartwarming, and Stardriver is fabulous if you need some mecha action.

Tiger&Bunny and Dantalian no Shoka are pretty fun as well, but I prefered the one I listed above.

Nichijou is worth watching if you like random/off the wall comedy. Even if you love the show, the entire thing works on hit or miss jokes. Some things are ridiculously funny, but others are only mildly funny or just not funny at all. If you have all in a row, the hit or miss won't be much of a bother. It only really bugs you when the entire episode misses, and while entire episodes hitting is rare it does happen.

I love Tiger and Bunny a lot, the premise is fantastic but it sorta loses the aspects that made people love it in the first place by the end of the show. And while the story doesn't pick up for about 10 episodes, it really gets going afterwards and it isn't terrible (certain resolutions were lame). Characters are great though, and the music/animation is fantastic and different.

The biggest issue I had with Tiger&Bunny is the large amount of weak decision done by the cast. I understand you're not supposed to overthink in that kind of show, but it still got to me by the end.
