Fall 2011 Anime thread

so I watched shana final ep 1. I actually thought it wasn't too bad! Progress is actually being made.

I thought Shana II was ruined by fillers in the 1st half and the 2nd half was rushed. But anyway... I don't think they can filler this because...

It seems like they're hinting a trajedy... I hope they go through with it (although I doubt it)

What killed Shana, even before the filler, is the relationship reset that happened at the end of the first season. That and the large amount of one dimensional character they kept adding.

I like that Bakuman is trying to make the Azuki/Mashiro at least somewhat interesting. I honestly thought they were going to just keep texting each other until they were 40. Japanese anime has the biggest problem understanding relationships, they are either oblivious to the existence of an opposite sex or think that being their friend for 10 years and holding hands is how you're supposed to get a girl.

Ben-To is just an excuse to have a pantyhose/stocking/zettai ryouiki anime. I kinda wanna watch the series to see how the fights are but I think it'll mainly be how the tights are.

If anyone watches it, let me know how the fighting and comedy is. It was pretty fun but I don't think I'll have time to watch it with everything else planned for this season.

I tried to be clever with that post.

I was wanting to watch the series for the fights but they were not really all that important besides having some still frames and the main character being blacked out. Most of the animation during the fights were on the pantyhose of the main female and most of the shots outside the fighting were focused on stockings and stuff. That's what I meant by my post that the show is mainly about the leggings than anything else.

Watch it for yourself and see if you notice it too.

No but I do have a few other weaknesses beside catgirls, including one that is 1b to catgirls (which are 1a).

thought you've been watching anime for awhile, nothing should be suprising by now... it is japan after all. (although, if ya want a suprise, you can always check their JAV's, they come up with the weirdest shit possible you would think is not possible for a guy to get hardon from, although I guess someone is, they keep making the stuff).

It shouldn't surprise me but it does, and usually I like that. But this just seems kinda dumb. Maybe I should just watch the show to see what it's like.

The show isn't terrible and I probably would watch it but I don't have the time and there are better shows I'm dropping so whatever.
