Aside from this being the most entertaining show of the season, Nobuhiko Okamoto sure does like voicing characters that get punched in the face.

I just watched the 2nd episode of Ben-to, and I have to say it was kind of badass. 1st episode wasn't great at all, but I think it'll pick up.

I got Chihaya from commie, but their files are always crappy for me, so I try to avoid them.

EveTaku is doing a joint with another group for it, but is running behind. They're also having manpower issues with Ben-To

Commie and horrible are format trolls.

They release their files set up so that, unless your programs are configured in just such a certain way they demand (which is often a way that is at odds with EVERY other sub/scene/pirate/etc releaser), they won't run right.
And horrible will do stuff like release with huge eye-rape font/color subs

I've ran like.. dozens of random groups on mplayer, haven't even updated CCC in a few years, havne't had a problem yet myself (including 10bit encodes).

Checked out Mirai Nikki recently... very interesting... I'm sure it will make for some interesting fanart too (´￢`)

That's the quality and effort I'd expect from a group that straight rips from crunchyroll. You can call it trolling if you really want to I guess.

But lololol at them making their files so they won't run right. If you have problems running their files it's because your configuration is screwy. I haven't had a single problem with any commie release because I keep my shit updated.

Just poor performance on every player I use. Only works on VLC which skips/distorts every so often. Watchable, but it's not nice.

And before it gets mentioned, I'm aware it's probably a problem on my end. But that still doesn't change me wanting to avoid them.

also about CCC, if your getting stuttering issues, it may be something wrong with your directX (or your not using it?).
I've watched everything from 320 to 1024 10bit, no issues, only issue I ahd was subtitles on a few encodes having strange subtitled text.

Any rip from Anime Network will have that font/color, it's the source's fault, not horribles.

but yeah, don't be OCD about who you choose, just download whoever releases 720p first and enjoy
