I haven't had any problems with the new Hi10p stuff on Win7 with the latest public CCCP+MPC, and that's watching whoever releases first. From Mazui, Commie, GG, SS-Eclipse, UTW, etc I watch em all.

Remember when this thread was about anime? Fuck, I miss a week ago.

UN-Go picked up in its second episode with a better mystery and more world-building but I'm kinda concerned about what it wants to do. I'm guessing there'll be some multi-episode arc to end the season (probably on Inga) but I'm thinking it might just be episodic content every week and be a lot like Dantalian no Shoka and have no central plot. Not sure what to think about it but it did improve this last week.

Really am enjoying this season of Ika Musume and Working'!! and I'm thinking they might actually be funnier than the average episode from their respective first seasons. Haven't watched this week's Working'!! yet (will do it soon) but it has been better than I remembered. Ika Musume, too, but I had much higher expectations for that than Working'!! so it's not near as impressive (and I do think Ika Musume is the better of the two).

Also, Ben-To has had some high praises lately, especially after episodes 2 and 3 (I dropped it after episode one and scanned through episode 2). For the people that like it, I'm curious which do you guys like more in the show: the fighting, the comedy, or what? And don't say both or a combination because that doesn't really matter to me. The first episode didn't really have any comedy or fighting so I'm curious to see what picked up and what people think about the show. Thanks in advance.

Anyway, Miarai Nikki looks to be good, keeping up with that after checking out the manga.
Hunter X hunter, moving at a really fast face compared to the original airing, if it ends around 24, it'll be the end of the hunter "tower" battles maybe at the rate its going.

A kid trying to follow the footsteps of his father and find him soorta adventure story, I'd say its decent. Need something to pass time waiting for the next anime!

For how all over HunterxHunter's balls people used to be thanks to the original airing and the manga, this reboot doesn't seem to be getting much love. I saw the first ep and the interaction between the emo kid + the whiny bastard made me lol. It didn't seem too interesting to me.

As someone who never saw the original, I like the remake of Hunter x Hunter. After watching the first episode, I went back to check up on the original and I must say, I like the new one more. They cut straight to the juicy parts, no fillers and stuff like Leorio and Gon running around the town doing miscellaneous shit. Not to mention, prettier animations.

I think I might of answered some of my own questions from my previous post.

1. It seems like the Silvana crew is alive and well. You can see the sound tech from the first series (Wina, i think) followed by what appears to be Tatiana herself wearing Alex's cloak in the ending credits. Might mean she has taken over at captain of the Silvana.

2. I'm wondering now if each of the moons in the sky are a "Exile" vessel. Luscinia seemed to be repeating a different set of mysterium than the ones that set the original Exile free. Which would also mean both Luscinia and Liliana are members of the guild. Maybe all of these incidents are factions of the guild re-settling the lower worlds and fighting amongst themselves.

3. It does also seems that this world we are seeing in Fam is the original world where Exile left en route to the Prester "sanctuary", which would explain why theres no Anatoray or Disith right now and also would explain Sophia's absence if that is the case. I guess it wouldn't even be the "lower world" anymore since it seems they are on a different planet after leaving Prester. The presence of so much water let alone multiple ethnicities having it a sacred place to them after it being so scarce on Prester also says they aren't there anymore.

4. It seems to me that Dio indeed knows something when he saw that guildie take Liliana, which might lead to an idea that Dio knows all of these guild houses that are now infighting and he refuses to take part of it as head of House Eraclea.

5. The crests on Luscinia's military uniforms does look an awful lot like the Silvana's. That is a little curious to me. I'm wondering now if we're to learn a bit more about Alex's past leading up to his search for Exile or if Luscinia has a similar idea in mind with his use of Exile.

Edit: Scratch some of 1. It is indeed Tatiana, but thats Allister and not Wina.

Yeah, im just running stuff off the top of my head now. But the lore of the original series always fascinated me so I'm a bit excited to be piecing some of this together now.

Funny, has a great MC with a realistic, likable personality, and enjoyable action.

You're not supposed to take it seriously. I mean, it's about kids brawling over lunch boxes.

MC's dad is essentially Solid Snake. Special forces agent, voiced by Norio Wakamoto. He taught him CQC and a bunch of tactical martial arts, this is how he fights so well with no explanation.

Glasses girl is writing a yaoi rape novel with MC as the main character. She goes to the fights for material.

This is pretty much what I like about it. Even the Ice Witch is a good character (even though she looks very tsundere). Only character I don't like is that crazy girl that is obsessed with glasses girl.

I'd recommend it. The older adaption, at least. Obviously I don't know how the new one will go.

Edit: Was in a rush earlier. I was gonna add: As a huge fan of the manga and old adaption, I really like the new one. It gets straight to the point. No filler. Most people that hate it hate it cause it's a new composer/set of voice actors and are just being whiners.
