Usagi Drop 2.5 was absolutely stunning. It's only a short 5 minute episode (off the BD) but it recaptured all the color, the heart, and the magic that the anime had. It was such a simple story, too, but it was so great. I miss watching Rin and Daikichi every week.

I strongly recommend (or whatever is above that) for everyone to watch it if they watched and loved the series. Commie subbed it, so hopefully it isn't too hard for you guys to find.

Part of me wants more Usagi Drop since it was one of the best series of last season

...the other part of me is completely corrupted since I just finished the manga...and knowing how things eventually turn out, I don't think any more UD episodes will salvage the tarnished image I now have of the series >.>

And I also finally got caught up with mirai nikki since so many of you have been talking about it...I almost hate myself for putting it off for so long because so far its been very damn good. Usually I hate crazy bitches but these crazy bitches take the title to a whole new level!

Am I the only one watching Idolmaster and Tamayura here? Never seems to be any discussion on those two anime. Was the very best episode of Idolmaster this past week and I forced others to watch it too so they could share in its glory. But never saw any mention of it here oh well.

I've been waiting for them to finish to marathon, Idolmaster is the one I'm looking forward to watching the most after this season ends. I was all ready to watch it at the end of last season.. and then I found out it was two seasons long. I watched the Tamayura OVA a while ago and liked it so I expect the anime is nice and cute and good. And my favorite subgroup is doing both of them... I can't wait for this season to end.

Doki and Chibiki are the only ones doing Idolmaster and Oyatsu, UTW-Mazui, and Nishi-Taku are the groups doing Tamayura, at least right now.

Been watching Chibiki and Oyatsu (both are first to release) and been happy with the quality and styles of each.

Chibiki = UTW and Oyatsu = Doki.I'm not a fan of Doki's TL work as they tend to be very literal or stiff in their translations, usually putting the translated dialog at odds with the personality of the character speaking the lines. Definitely a faux pas when dealing with middle/high school girls.

But on the topic of names, I think UTW makes unique tags just for the hell of it sometimes, like when they did Gosick; it was tagged as "Victorique" even though the group working on it was 100% UTW.

This is correct for many groups. Sometimes Coalgirls will tag their releases under Chihiro, but it's still 100% Coalgirls. GotWoot does speed and quality releases and will release their speed subs under GotSpeed, but it's still the same exact staff.

Fate/Zero: Saber always gets her ass kicked for a bit it always seems. This Rider is kind of a bad ass :D. Gilgamesh doesn't seem quite as powerful as before seeing as he didn't instill the same kind of fear he did in Fate/Stay. But so far I really like all the characters, but def think Rider is cool.
