Well, Gil wasn't really a measure of Archer's power, since the two never directly faced off. As for Shirou's power... Shirou was actually very weak compared to most servants, he only barely beat Gilgamesh because of the similarity between their abilities to hurl weapons, few of which either has any proficiency with. And Gil got his arm cut off when he was about to use Ea.
Shirou's powers are much greater in HF, probably matching other servants, because he got Archer's arm.
Oh and Gil was only the strongest because Saber never got to use Avalon other than at the end of the Fate route![]()
The only redeeming moment thus far in phi brain, " you just had to go pull a shinji ikari on us didn't you" I Lold
Persona 4: The Animation
Spoiler: show
Not theoretically, she did survive the attack. Avalon basically makes her invincible from any and all harm. I'd say that's pretty imba and puts her at the top of the food chain in terms of direct physical combat.
She's also got one of the highest, if not the highest, ranking of Magic Resistance (enough to actually resist a Command Seal), thus making here the 'strongest' servant. The only thing that can truly hold her back is her supply of prana, from her Master, hence why she got her ass kicked in the Fate scenario, and kicked ass in the UBW one (after she made a contract with Rin). Why Saber doesn't use Avalon, until the end of the Fate scenario (already spoiled above), is a huge spoiler, atm, and should eventually be explained in Fate/Zero.
It's really already explained in the Fate route
Not to go all Fate nerd, but you might also consider that Avalon is the single artifact that actually exists in reality, as opposed to all the other servants' artifacts being materialized by the Grail and requires prana from the master to use. So it doesn't even matter Shirou is a weakass magician. I understand that it's probably better used to protect the master, but as a whole, Saber with Avalon should definitely be the most powerful servant of all of them.
And that's basically how it turned out anyway, I mean she did pretty much win the war twice (she would have beaten Rider easily in HF if not for Shirou going all main-character cheat mode).
Didn't she draw/lost to Shirou on the bad end of that vs Rider scenario though?
And yeah, Ea is the most broken shit ever, it's just that Gil is too much of a retard to pull it on most scenario.
Boku Ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai 05 was pretty funny, seemed to remind me of XIV for some reason.
In her defense, Shirou was an absolute hoss at the end of HF
Probably stronger than most servants
But yes, if you want to say "Who's the hardest one to beat?" it's Saber with Avalon, sure.
I don't know if anyone can match Gilgamesh with Ea in destructive power, though. Maybe Counter Guardian mode Archer.
I know way too much about this series.
Just finished watching episodes 1-4 of Mirai Nikki so I'm all caught up now. I'm glad its good.
Spoiler: show
That said, I loved Yui's reactions towards Ai.
Guilty Crown 4:
More of the same, beautiful art and animation, lol-worthy characters, plot progression and motivations/reasoning. Everything about the way the characters deal with shit is just weird or stupid. There's no reason for any of them to act like this if they were sensible people or at least not all dumb as rocks. Gai might be the only one with a good motive, but we don't know shit about shit so even his is stupid. One more episode Guilty Crown, then your ass is history.
Working Season 2 Ep 6
I have to say the new characters were a blast to sit through and I hope Yamada's brother will also be making his debut appear this season.
Fate/Zero Ep 6
This show continues to be great, really; I'm almost amazed at just how well this show is being directed. I'm impressed on how engaging and consistent this series has been in terms of entertainment value. The characters and their relationships are well presented, and the emotional drama is very effective.
Shakugan no Shana III (Final) Ep5
Wow, the show is actually getting more interesting than I expected. I enjoyed this episode, even though there were some Really Weird scenes but Shana's past was really adorable. My fingers remain crossed in the hope that they can keep this up throughout.
Spoiler: show
Loved this segment of Shana's past.

Man, FZ's episode 5 sure drained the funds. New ep still very good though.
Oh and despite this being a late night show that tries to be edgy, they still can't show all the Ryunosuke/Caster shenanigans huh? lol
Taking a lover route doesnt add that much screentime if they already maxed out every social link..it's like one additional scene. I hope they won't do it since the date in P4 were terrible compared to the rest of the story, and I dont want this show to feel like some sort of harem, but I think they could do it easily if they wanted.
Well
There was a Ufotable event today and they spilled tons of production beans
Regarding censorship in upcoming Fate/Zero episodes:
-expect signification censorship in the next 2-3 eps for the TV versions
-they're going to have to move the camera to the wall and pillars and they're not showing any children in the scenes at all
Regarding deleted scenes / extra scenes on the BD:
-they also mentioned scenes which were cut out for time in previous eps, which would be restored on BD
-ep2 has an additional Ilya x Kiritsugu scene (It was shown in first Fate/Zero PV reveal).
-ep3 will have more Iris x Saber at the airport
-ep6 will have Archer and Kirei having an additional conversation
-ep7 will have more

I'm loving the gloomy route Bakuman is taking. Also I'm glad they weren't seriously going to not see each other until Ashirogi got an anime serialization.
Fate/Zero continuing to deliver quite well. Can't get enough of it and I'm glad to see the pacing is almost exactly where it needs to be.
