I don't think the VN will lose any appeal no matter what order you get to it. It will add a ton of depth even if you know how a given branch ends. Not to mention the hentai scenes... (fun fact: with a bit of searching, you can find an uncensored patch to get rid of the mosaic).

Really pleased with the finale to UN-Go, although it wasn't as surprising or full of plot twists as I had hoped. Still, a solid ending to my favorite anime of the season.

Can't wait to watch Penguindrum when it's subbed later tonight either. It's going to be a sad day to see those two anime are over now.

Working Season 2 Ep 13 *End*

As hilarious as this episode was, as funny as Maya's groans of despair were, they need to stop letting her speak only in the final episodes, and give her a more active role in the show.

Overall:

it's still unbelievable how much better the second season is than the first. The Souma x Yamada stuff is always great, the Yachiyo / Satou friendship stuff is legitimately good and the series actually tries to make Inami likable this time around by not having her bash some guys skull in every 5 seconds, and of course the funniest parts of this show are any time Satou is trolling Poplar.

Fate/Zero Ep 13 *First Half End*

And so ends one of the best anime of the year(for me). There were a lot of great moments here with most of the characters, especially any scene involving Rider and Waver.

I think it speaks to the strength of this show that I can't really think of any real issues with the show across any of the episodes. The characters were all really strong, and I think the show had really strong pacing and direction throughout the whole first half.

I loved Penguindrum, the ending was very wtf but I liked the whole thing.

UN-GO was great, not as dramatic as I thought it would be but I liked that Yuuki is still out to get Kaisho.

Haganai was great, sad it's over but it was a great way to end it.

Oh wow, Persona 4 12 was pretty good, I really loved the remix of the "I'll face myself" for the episode.

Had a chuckle on how it was Yosuke that bailed him out of the lotus eater dreamworld too, Bros before Hoes.

although I was sort of expecting another "void" user, wasn't expecting it to happen the way it did O_o
