I will never overlook Persona 4 news. The more I see the better it gets. I hope the give the MC some kind of personality, I know he has to be blank slate in a game, but I'd like to see more in the anime, otherwise it'll be kinda boring just seeing everyone talk around the MC lol.

P4's MC personality was actually somewhat fleshed out to be those cool senpai/aniki type, or at least a bit more fleshed out than P3's "doudemoii" personality anyway.

I wonder if Marie gonna make appearance on the anime though, adding Hanazawa Kana to the existing seiyuu list for the girls would be orgasmic to say the least.

Yeah, I see aspects of it based on how people generally perceive him, and I found that more interesting about P4's MC than P3. I'm just curious to see how (if) they pull it off. And yeah, some Marie would be good, she kinda gives me a Naota vibe for some reason.

I don't understand all this hype for P4. I loved that game, but even in the best scenario, the anime version should remain inferior to the original. If you haven't played it, it could be interesting, but I would rather replay the game than watch a travesty of it.

Other than me and maybe Zilong and Ker, I dunno who else even cares about P4 anime. I'm usually the only one talking about it when stuff pops up lol. But that doesn't mean I don't agree with you, like I said, I'm curious to see how they do it and if it works. I'm not looking forward to the parts that even bored me in the game about the story or characters, but it should still be interesting all the same. Also, so curious about how they pace this shit lol

I won't say I think it's bad, but somehow it loses its appeal since I already know the story I will still watch it though, I believe.

I can't say no to Koshimizu Ami, Horie Yui, and Kugimiya Rie in the same series, especially if Hanazawa Kana pops up.

But yeah, I've been really busy as of late, and Fall season promises so much, so I'm not even sure if I'd follow it religiously. I'd give it the usual 3 episode test, but I'm not nearly as excited for it like I am for Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai and the new Ika Musume.

I'm also interested to see how they will pace the story and everything (I dont think its possible to capture the slice of life/drama the way they did in the game), but I'm dreading this series more than anything. It's gonna be bad and make us sad.

It's a byproduct of stuffing news into megathreads because every time it's bumped, it's got a low chance of being for news rather than chatter on potentially dozens of topics. The 3 people you name are probably the ones who actually bother to subscribe/check up on the latest posts in this thread. If the P4 anime had its own thread, it would be a different story and get its proper due.

If you haven't played the game it should be worthwhile, though we'll see if the anime does the story justice lol. In any case, the music should be good!

I'm excited for Fate/Zero and Guilty Crown. I can’t predict how good the story will be, but the visual look of both shows is spectacular.

This short introductory episode was actually pretty entertaining. It was wacky, stupid, and fun as you expected from a "switch your brain-off" MediaFactory Light Novel series.
