Patch 1.18 Notes (07/21/2011)

This patch is looking really great. I can't wait to dive in and start trying things out. This is gonna be one long summary video I'll have to do. Also, the download of the patch is going quite well for me 68% with 5min remaining. Good work Yoshi-P. and crew.

In practice, from here forward Multishot will act like Double Attack. Every 15s, ARC will fire two arrows instead of one. The only possible reason to hoard your Multishot during a fight (Foeseeker) has been eliminated.

Yeah, seems like you're better off popping the Multishot every CD and burning it right away instead of waiting on the next CD to do 3 shots. This of course is mid battle or when you have to slow down.

Ugh this video is gonna be brutal. >_<

It also seems like most of the DoW jobs are going to have a macro something like this:

which they push every 30 seconds.

Someone convince me otherwise.

About 10ish. Worst part was that it doesn't cap my upload so I'm seeding at like 150 and its killing my web browsing. lol

I just think it needs to be reemphasized how incredibly hard THM got nerfed. Casting a single-target Sacrifice on someone else (especially the higher tiers) saps your own HP pool pretty damn quickly.

Swimsuits are in on 1.18, lalafell... has the most coverage for a swimsuit apparently O_o

Patch download complete and now installing. Guess that high ass FIOS bill has now justified itself.

Knock on wood, I'm using the client downloader and in about 10 minutes, it's already @20% and still climbing. Hopefully it keeps at it. A lot to take in and I hope it's for the better.

You're right, otherwise you won't be able to do Ruin or Constraint.

Took an hour to patch with FF's patcher.

the FFXIV patcher is giving me a 15hr estimate, then dropping down to like an hour before it completely stops. uTorrent is telling me 11hrs -.-;;

Patch looks pretty interesting - almost enough to tempt me to log back in. But, I think I shall wait 1 or 2 more patches. Assuming the next 2 patches are like this one, it should be worth the wait. And who knows, by then maybe they'll announce PS3 release with a chance at fresh servers.

Oh, finally I'll have to manage my MP instead of spamming any and everything just because I could. Oh, and actually thinking about if I need to cast now or wait. Before I'd just be spamming aoe cures even when the party was topped off if engaged with a mob.

mte. People complaining about this must never have actually played CON/THM, it's ridiculous right now.

The r50 weapons still aren't better than a HQ1 version of the crafted weapons. Definitely not better than any HQ2s as far as I can tell.
