no, i believe it. i just cant picture the series finished in a movie format. than again, sex in the city did it, so what do i know? lol

Sex in the City was finished when the series ended. All the movies did was break relationships and re-establish them. Long as the series has a good conclusion, I don't care what the movie does.

Anyone catch the first episode of the season? I thought it was pretty good, lots of funny bits and Ari's storyline seems pretty interesting. Albeit, I'm still confused as to why Vince was angry at E. Something about business and friendship, but it wasn't really... clear?

this show has really fallen off compared to what it once was, i am excited that its finally being put out of its misery. ari's storyling may be good, as far as i am concerned scott caan is the only cool character.

Only thing I can think of, and I feel it's not the best explanation, is it goes with last season and Vince feels E let him do whatever because he was E's client whereas as a friend he should have stopped him before he became an addict (which would be odd considering I think E was the first person to ask him if he was doing drugs and said he trusted whatever Vince said). It probably has something to do with Vince blaming E for the whole addiction stuff..

Ari's storyline is my favorite as the rest of the cast just seems to be doing the same thing they have done every season. I dont like that E and Sloan broke up, but you know they will be back together by the end of the 6 episode run

It's supposed to be 8 episodes.

First episode definitely was not what entourage used to be.. It seemed like most of em weren't even trying to act.. and jonny drama was overacted imo.. just trying to keep vince from 'relapsing' was annoying as hell.. seemed like everyone was just overacting or not even trying.

Scott Caan in my opinion is a terrible actor.. can't do anything without moving his hands and it looks like it's rubbed off on E also..

I hope the next episode is better than the first.. After watching this show since the beginning i'd hate for it to end in such a shitty way.

Only 8 episodes is really shitty, especially for the seemingly long wait since last season or maybe that's just me. I wasn't thrilled with last episode either, but it might've had something to do with the hilarious Curb episode before that setting the bar so high.
