Meaning it's not pre-rendered and simply playing a movie file. It's capable of being rendered in real-time by a PS3. We're assuming this was recorded off of a PS3 running the animation.

Yeah naw, but Quantic Dreams is well known for their motion capture technology (which they put to use when they made Heavy Rain). They are pretty good at getting past that uncanny valley for the most part (omg the texture on her eyes).

Technically, he wasn't auditioning for a specific role and didn't land his first role until 3 years later.

Regardless, 3 Oscar nominations and 1 win in your first 6 films is a pretty solid start to a career even if it took a bit longer than expected.
