While I don't dislike either movie, I thought Thor 2 suffered from Malekith not being developed whatsoever. I don't think he had more than 10 lines the entire movie.

EDIT: Actually, I bothered counting- it was 14 and they're all pretty short.

He was also weak as shit. Kurse was beast though. Would like to see him fight some of the Avengers.

First screening was last night, mostly positive reviews, biggest note is 2 end credit scenes.

Most reviews I've seen indicate it goes in a somewhat different direction than your normal Marvel film, has innovative fight scenes, but feels somewhat disjointed. Universally, everyone is saying the after credits scene is a must see. So that's got me more interested than before.

If things were different I'm sure this would have been a phase one movie with a subtle ultron reference. Possibly wishful thinking on my end.
