I have continued to have these headaches, without the a fore mentioned precursor (arousal), and the other night I was having a really bad one so I decided I would go to the ER. The doctor performed a neurological exam and decided a CT scan was necessary. I went and had that done and came back to the waiting room for an agonizing 45 minutes while I awaited my results. Finally the doctor returned and told me there were no signs of regrowth, but a large build up of fluid (probably CSF, he didn't know for sure) that had accumulated and was probably what was causing the headaches. He gave me a prescription for some pain medication and recommended I follow up with a neurologist, which I am in the process of doing. So at least the tumor is ruled out, but now I face the possibility of having to deal with another surgery to drain the fluid, or potentially having a shunt put in, which is no fun. BUT at least there is no tumor!
Thanks again Tonko
