ice cream muffins
1.5 cups self-rising flour ( or 1.5 cup flour + 1.5 tsp baking powder + .5 tsp salt)
1 pint ice cream, any flavor
350F, 20 minutes.
for best results, the batter should be under-stirred, just let the flour hydrate.

you probably should become asexual
or stop listening to ksan, which he probably wasn't gonna do in the first place
I'm honestly surprised this many people even eat breakfast. I eat like twice a day
I feel pretty good about the fact that rocl was gonna go with my suggestion
as an ambassador of one-time deals, I am arching my eyebrow suggestively at your satisfaction at choosing what Rocl will put in his mouth
I already met Rocl once, so
we're probably past the window of something like that happening
for me, breakfast is about telling my body to get its shit together the day has started. more about metabolism and waking up than being hungry. an apple or carrot will do just fine.
Apparently, that's a load of bull
no u
When people refer to " stroking the metabolic fire" (in the context of food) they mean the process by which energy is required to break down food. So that's why you would eat a little in the morning: to use up energy breaking up food. However the amount of energy used up in breaking down food is proportional to the amount of food you eat. So for example, you could eat three times a day, eating 500 calories, and you would burn a certain amount every time you eat those meals.
But if you were to only eat once a day, and eat at night, but instead you eat a 1,500 calory meal, you'd be burning the same exact amount of energy via metabolism as the guy that ate 500 calorie meals three times a day, since what matters is the total amount you eat in a day.
I thought the idea was that your metabolism slows down with no activity, and that breakfast gets it back to speed or something. So wouldn't that be effected even when you aren't eating? ie the guy eating only once a day would have a slower metabolism overall than someone who at 3 times a day right?
How slow your metabolism is is dependent on a lot of factors, among them your genes and whether you are doing strenuous activity (such as exercise). Food is only part of the equation, but what i'm saying is that what matters is total amount of food consumed (and the type of food) rather than when you eat that food.
You should probably have breakfast though, if you have insulin problems.
