This was my biggest complaint around PS1/N64 era. A hundred times more I would rather have a well done, 2D, side-scrolling game than a typical, shitty-looking, 3D game.

Oh I know about them both.. I just really love the whole Ayn Rand/Atlas Shrugged theme that Bioshock has running through it. Made the game so much more appealing to a political junkie like myself.
