you know, it's faster just to give 50 gifts to an NPC. It can even be the same npc and the same item. I ended up giving Fournival's daughter 50 skulls.

Talk about a sequel to this game definitely gets me thinking. What would you guys like in a sequel?

I think a lot of Dark Souls type online stuff would be pretty cool in this game. If anything it would be less constrained since you don't have to worry about destroying the challenge as much. Being able to drop into other peoples worlds could be really fun, Like random rifts opening up in the game that link you with other people. Online protocol affected by people playing that changes the monsters that appear in everyone's world, Ur-Dragon fights where you're actually fighting with others. More pawn systems like requesting pawns find items for you while they're in other people's games, Rift flares that activate when pawns get KO'd that allow other players/pawns to jump to your aid if they see it in their game. More flexible/adjustable inclinations.

My new favorite thing is throwing townspeople and pawns into the everfall.

The pawns walking around town anyways, not the ones in my party.

2-4 player co-op would just be phenomenal in a game like this. Just being able to invite other players to your world, they can gain xp but not keep loot or something, doesn't progress other players' game storyline. Basically lets them play themselves as your pawns. That's the only thing I'd love to see in a sequel, because as fun and innovative as the pawn system is, being able to play with 3 other real people would be fantastic.

Some level of PvP could be really fun, although the game currently isn't really balanced for that. Unless you play a bow job you can't win against a bow job.

Scaling enemies and some variety to the enemy layout would be great. Running around the world so much, you memorize where every enemy is without even trying.
Though that was also because you had to travel through the same areas a dozen times because of the nearly non-existent fast travel in the game that they made better in DA.

The eternal ferrystone was so crucial, though I had a stock of like 40 ferrystones before my NG+. But the first playthrough with no fast travel was excruciating.

I dunno, I feel like the 0 cd spammable war charge that directs you towards anything near where you're pointed would be pretty damn tough for a ranged toon to counter.

Well I've only played Assassin but Gale Harness (or whatever the super sprint + attack) for close range and then invisibility + sniper shot from like halfway across the map or 5 fold shot is pretty beast. I don't know much about MA / ranger / strider other than ranger gets 10 shot.

If they nerfed invisibility for PvP it'd probably be a bit more fair, but as it is now it'd be kinda ridiculous, for Assassin anyway.

Booted up 3rd playthrough for shits and giggles. Not taking it seriously. Perma-killed Ser Maximillian the second I got the wyrm quests. Time to see what happens now lol.

Edit: For what it's worth, just discovered a fun trick. You can kill NPCs in Gran Soren without getting arrested if you're right at a zone. Example, the exit from the field in the pawn area, I stood at the gate and Lycean Sight shot the guard in the head then immediately zoned out. Came back, he was dead + no arrest.

NPCs respawn in a week's time (unless they die or disappear as part of a storyline). You can also do the same zoning with a Ferrystone (you can just port to the Gran Soren waypoint too, no less). Taking to the rooves of the buildings and raining death down is also viable.

I'd really like to be able to do more around water (even going underwater perhaps) in a sequel; fuck da Brine, I saved the goddamn world and slayed everything and assembled a harem of brown women. If underwater is out of the question, maybe some more exploration would be cool via boat or something. I'd love to see more locales too.

Also a hand-to-hand melee would be kinda cool (they flirted with this, with that Ring in DA) - maybe a pet class might be interesting depending on what is done with Pawns.

Time to see if I can systematically kill every guard in Gran Soren then.

I guess that's the problem with 100% a really fun game. I have literally nothing left to do, but I wanna keep playing. Lol.

Edit: Ooooh, if you have invisibility up they don't arrest you lol.

you could always go the crazy dark souls fanatic route of going through with only super weak stuff, don't level up your spells etc

That's tempting. I'd have to start a whole new file though because I'm lv200. Although I did Assassin all the way up so if I hope on mage with lv1 spells my magick will be so low lol.

Killed every guard day + night in Gran Soren in an attempt to cheese my way into Duke's chambers earlier than story allows. Even without the guards stopping me I still can't get in

    Guess I'll assassinate him later.

lol Haven't been home to play all weekend, so I turned the game on first and went "what the fuck?" Was not expecting that.

Thanks I'll try to make use of what I can, still going through this because I just logged on lol

It does, it also affects stamina regen and max stamina.

Stamina regen is better for smaller dudes but they have less stam and carry less.

Yeah that was my plan, some of these are useful for me though. A couple items seem super OP for where I am so I'll probably make use of them somewhere down the road. Thanks!

Also so I should have my Pawn with max height, least weighted items possible and Sinew on them so people can use as mules?

Can't forgot them holes only tiny chars can get in too! Taller chars also have longer range, heavier are more resistant to wind and mobs like harpies won't be able to carry you away when you grab them. Fuck this game was so good.

You can forget them, 'cause there's so few... lol.
I don't think I found any hobbit holes (as I like to call them) anywhere aside from the shadow fort.

There might be more but I never found them.
