I hired Krandor & tyven's pawns before going to BBI looking for maneaters. Opened a chest, they stunned it to free me then went on to immediately jump over it and directly into the water
RIP
That sounds like my pawn alright.
Also I want to start giving 3 star reviews out of laziness. Is that not okay?
Spiral Arrow for a beastmode stunlock that lasts longer and has a lower stamina cost. This is good if you have pawns that can actually wreck him... otherwise 10fold with blast arrows is your better bet. Especially if you have liquid vim or some shiz so you spam that.
I tried to figure out exact numbers for each consumable a long time ago. At level 200 stack the 4 periapts and it takes about 200 arrows and no stamina recharges.
Oh yeah just in case some of the newer guys didn't know you can stack demon & conqueror's periapts up to 4 times.
I never carry periapts though, feels like cheating. I already wreck both Daimon forms in less than 5min with none as Sorc.
Warrior has been a ton of fun to play thus far (I'm level 41 and just met the Duke). Is it really going to continue to steamroll like it has been or can I expect a sharp dropoff soon?
Also I spotted the griffon flying around when exploring but he wouldn't land. He knows what's waiting for him. He knows.
i have never used a periapt or different arrows LOL
i put them in my storage bin and say "i will try these later!"
I always used to look at throwblasts at "hey look another shitty consumable I'll never use / have no use for". I tried them for the first time yesterday (after never touching them for like what...three, four playthroughs?), and I'm still processing how hilariously broken they actually are
I've been pocketing all that stuff for a rainy day, too. I'm mostly freaking out about my ever-decreasing carrying room and have not broken my klepto tendencies yet.
I normally don't lug around most of those consumables since most of the time they're honestly not needed. I'll do it when I play today just to get Death off my back for awhile.
Yeah, I imagine once I begin targeting things to hunt I'll load up on stuff and set away all of my unnecessary items, but for right now I'm content to stockpile. Killing the Devilfire drake a bunch of times worked through a fair bit of my healing items, so I'm trying to mass-gather apples and grapes for wine.
Is the Legion's staff worthwhile with the loss of firepower attached to it on a pawn? Mine is a sorcerer right now but I wanted to back to mage and finish it out. Losing so many spells is hard, though (mage was only 5) and I don't want to sheer off my damage that much. I think when I swap out my pawns I'll try to snag a replacement sorc so I'm not losing that much. A friend wants me to take his warrior pawn out for a spin so we'll have TWO greatswords splitting the world in two.
I've spent basically all week thinking of this game. Hot damn.
Legion's Might is cute, but I'd never want to use it in any real encounters.
So how do you guys dodge daimon 2.0's blackhole shit as a ranger? Last time i tried i got owned cause as magic archer you cant stun shit, i've had a ranger pawn save me once with a multi arrow shot to the face
And if i switch to ranger, its stupid hard to hit the multi arrow in the face while moving
