So how do you guys dodge daimon 2.0's blackhole shit as a ranger? Last time i tried i got owned cause as magic archer you cant stun shit, i've had a ranger pawn save me once with a multi arrow shot to the face
And if i switch to ranger, its stupid hard to hit the multi arrow in the face while moving

I play my ranger/archer as close range fighter. Every fight with Daimon is the same with me. As soon as cutscene ends I rush him, climb up his back, thousand cuts until he drops. When he morphs into his second form I do the same but hit the face in the middle of his chest. If he uses his blackhole move and you're already hanging on him it doesn't affect you at all. You just keep swinging away until you interrupt it and save your pawns.

I don't play those classes so I guess just go with what Brill says lol.
Though with MA, I just do the same shit I do as Sorc most of the time and just shoot focused bolts.

Personally I disabled the DoF because from what I've seen it's a mad performance killer in certain situations.

Oh. I went to NG+ (again) and I can now confirm that rancid bait meat in the first courtyard area will summon a cursed dragon even in BBI 1.0 so its easy AS fuck to Dragonforge as long as you can do any sort of damage to those fuckers (which isn't hard with Holy Affinity and some sort of ranged weapon). Its ridiculously easy to cheese one of them in that area too.
And fortunately for me, my character is magic gouge so as long as my weapon has an element on it I'm good with everything so I'm thinking about gearing out every vocation now.

Looks like they fixed the RC glitch, just logged on and slept after getting to the blue moon tower and laying down a port crystal, Got 160k RC; 40k from charismatic and a wakestone woo! and a shitload of knowledge
I also downloaded wickets ENB mod but i failed to install it cause i suck, and i downloaded the hybrid arisen mod to modify my stat gains, im only like 36 atm, so those 26 levels shouldnt be too bad of a stat dump considering i went magic knight for the balanced stats

You guys I ran into the ur dragon and it didn't go well so then I read about him and it sounds like I prob couldn't even kill him anyway unless I come across him with super low health. So is there any point in fighting him when he has a lot of health? If i do significant damage will he go away or something?

First thing to note is that if you go into options and turn connectivity to Offline, you can fight a weaker version of him.
Second, there's an (approximately) 8min timer on the battle and for the online version this contributes to actually killing him and you do get stuff for this even if you're not there for the killshot online. Of course its still best to actually get a kill. Offline version just keeps the damage you did to him and he'll keep flying away every approx 8min til you actually kill him.

Get your kills EARLY. As each Ur-Dragon is killed the next version has greater health. I've had this game for a very long time and I JUST got my first kill a few months ago. I waited too long and as a result it would take literally, days, for his health to be whittled down. I kept zoning in burning a shit ton of blast arrows and conqueror's periapts. Warping back to town, getting more, and going right back in. I think I killed Ur-Dragon #680 or something like that.

Ur-Dragon gear is also easily replaced by mid tier BBI gear. So it's more of a yeah I killed that bitch type of thing.

Also, I figured out why my pawn is acting dumb lately. All these rentals changed her inclination. Changed her back to Utilitarian/Challenger.

I didn't think Rentals affected inclination, I thought only your main pawn could be affected by whatever you were doing.

Its very easy to see if you haven't played in a long time. When I loaded up my save on the PS3 last time I got like 1.6 mil RC and her inclinations were all fucked up.
(Which reminds me that I probably should have loaded the save and rested at an inn before transferring, oh well)

You either have to be alone or all pawns with you have to be incapacitated.

It's not worth the effort in Dark Arisen, since it got nerfed pretty heavily from vanilla.
