Are you using no script or ad-block?

I know a guy in my linkshell was using no script and was having issues converting Crysta with paypal. I think paypal still charged him but it never added any crysta.

I used an Ultimate Game Card for my first month to try it out. It works fine. Even though FFXI isn't listed on UGC you sign up for a free PlaySpan account there.

It could be it's not listed on their list of games because technically you don't pay directly for FFXI with it, you just use it to buy Crysta as a medium.

Ok so it seems I hadn't anticipated that changes to any payment info etc. are now completely unavailable through the Playonline Viewer. Which means that the only possible option for paying for impending prorated or due fees are with whatever payment info is currently registered. Which means that if you need to pay for prorated or due fees with different payment info that you cannot do it through Playonline Viewer. Which means you would have to do it through the SE accounts, except in order to transfer you have to have no prorated or due fees. Which means you have no options lol.

SE can make stupid decisions...but lets be honest, this time the complaints were towards their methods of income. This wasnt "fuck them theyre not making bst godly with 100% pet pdt im quitting" which was an obv bluff but a very strong distain towards their changed methods of payment. In this case, theres no being allready settled into the game and will just deal with it and move on, in this case people still have to change over to a new method of payment, and those who think its bullshit, and theres a lot of us, will just not change over. Theres no work involved to cancel since theyd be doing it for us lol

I made that mistake too (having NoScript on when I used Paypal) and it didn't properly redirect me to the SE page, but I still got my Crysta. It takes ~10 minutes or so for the crysta to actually show up on your account. Should receive an e-mail confirmation saying the crysta is in your account right away if it's successful, though.

So if I did the transfer thing, but didn't sign up with a Click and Shit credit card yet or buy Crysta, will I not be able to play come next billing cycle (August 2ish)? Or will it just charge my current method of payment? I ask because my friend was paying for my account so he could use it as a BRD mule, and now when I went to change my payment method I couldn't. I don't want him getting charged again for my character.

If you have no extra new or unpaid fees pending for next month (things like new addons, unpaid last month fees, or server transfers etc.) then you should be able to switch into the SE account and then change your billing info.

Now you see, that's the confusing bit. Hiding paypal behind ultimatepay makes you think your dealing with another clickandbuy.

Son of a bitch!! I decided to go ahead and get this over with but was saying "Maintenance" every time after I entered info. I realized it was probably no script/ad block doing it so I turned it off. Now I get to what looks like the end and it says, "ERROR (-24202)" Is anybody else having this problem? I choose click and buy cause I still want to have it automatic deducted from my card.

Seems this is considered action so i can't even look into which option is best for me until August 1st. I'm in Canada. I would prefer to use my Credit Card every month to pay for this BS. I have a verified PayPal account, but don't feel comfortable taking money from my bank account on a regular basis through Paypal. What is the best route for me?

When the day happens and SE realizes their losing at least 1000 players because of this payment BS, you can bet they're gonna find a different way to get people's money.That once a week warp item is not worth anyone's stress or frustration. People will just stop playing, I know I will if it's not resolved. Maybe eliminating their FFXI specific billing department is saving them a lot of money, but they are going to lose more in monthly fees than they are gaining.

I just have my CC attached to paypal and it worked fine ( i think says i got 3,000 crysta that i bought so who am i to argue)
If you want you can try and use those Ultimate points. but the paying for crysta through paypal isnt automated.
So i'd say use paypal til they fix it or do what most people seem to be doing, just don't pay til they fix it so you can CC direct(which i will do when they change it(if they do)

I went to Go use crysta, today Since click & Buy doesn't support South Africa, To find SE doesn't support South Africa with Crysta LoL!!!
