Mine says: "You have no Content ID for FFXI. Pleas obtain a new Content ID or reactivate a cancelled one in order to play the game and/or to use the Playonline services".

Edit: ............................. I had to reactivate ALL my characters including those that I cancelled to log on with the few I actually want active. This is BS.
Especially because I had to pay a fee to reactivate them <_<
Nvm... I can use the characters I paid the reactivation fee for but not my main+ 2 mules that were in the "To be cancelled" status.

I was finally able to transfer today. Looks like SE billing will start on Sept 1st. So I called my credit card company to see what was charged for August. Oh yay I was double billed for almost $30 for 1 account and 2 mules. Of course I call them and their billing servers are down :/

Ok, so, my account has been closed over a year so I just logged into POL which directed me to make a SE account management system account when I tried to edit the billing on it. I then added 2000 Crysta. What will now happen if I reactivate my account and start playing?
Crysta will go out and I'm fine for 30 days?
OR
Crysta will be deducted in 30 days?

How much Crysta does 30 days even cost?

Also bought the Ultimate FFXI edition to have all 3 Abysseas and there seems NO WAY possible to put the code in now?? You can only buy them from SE? Which would cost me another $30...

30 days costs 1395 (or 1295?) Crysta + 100 Crysta per mule. They pro-rate it if you're activating after the beginning of the billing cycle, so you may be charged less than that. For instance, I reactivated a mule on the 27th of last month and got charged 10 Crysta, then deactivated him before the next billing cycle.

It used to be 12.95 for your account and first char and 1 for each char after.

Now its 11.95 for your account and 1 dollar for each char you own on it. So if you only have one, its still 12.95.

I believe your cycle is done the day you sign up. So if you sign up the 15th of the month, you pay the full amount then every 30 days after that, your bill is due again.

But I could be wrong and they just prorate it and and it due the first of every month.

Sorry, makes no sense how I typed it. Part one was in response to Byrthnoth, other part was just talking about the billing cycle.

Have no idea what changes they made for EU, etc.

Sorry, I couldn't remember if the base was $13 or $14. The thing I said about my mule is actually what happened, though. I only spent 10 Crysta to activate him for ~4 days. It went like this:
27th : Put 3000 Crysta ($30) into the account
27th : Reactivated mule (-10 Crysta) They said something like -100 Crysta then +90 Crysta "pro rata" in the description, so it was pro rated. I don't know if I would have been able to do it with less than 100 crysta on my account though.
28th : Server transferred mule (-2500 Crysta)
31st/1st : Account deactivates due to insufficient funds (1495 required, 490 available)
1st : Put 5000 Crysta ($50) into the account
1st : Reactivate main and one mule (-1395 Crysta).

The server hopping mule is deactivated still, and only cost me 10 Crysta to activate.

I must say that the failure to handle this transfer is total. I had no doubt it would happen but a part of me was hoping for the best.
after paying the oustanding fee - what oustanding fee? - for july I am not asked to pay august. click and buy blocked my account for some unknown reason - contacting them is impossible - so I bought the silly crysta stuff.
after setting up and reactivating the character I end up into the list of people with the

I can see that a payment is due tomorrow so MAYBE tomorrow things will be solved. if not is seems very silly what's happening as I am billed twice and still unable to play

No. The payment is the same as it used to be. I'm just unsure where the currency conversion takes place.

So it takes 1195 (for example!!) Crysta for NA accounts and it will take less for a EU account? Cus it has charged me the full £20 so there is no conversion there.

1€=1$=1£=100 Crysta and you're locked in whatever currency your region uses regardless of your POL region so for most cross-region people it is a 30% raise at least.

My acc with 1 character was 1295 afair. Dunno how much Euro exactly thought because I was able to buy Crysta with a Polish transfer system and had the amount already in Polish currency.

Hmmmm... I doubt that they price jumped it for non-US people. If 20 pounds = 2000 Crysta, then I'm betting it's only 895 Crysta or whatever for one character. They must be making the adjustment on the back end.
