What codes? promotion codes like the chocobo beret have a place to redeem on the site. You have to go to services > ffxi and there is a 'register new code' or something button near the top that can be used for registration codes or promo codes.

You have to enter the last two digits of the charges yeah i know, retarded, I litterly kept entering the charges as they were 0.94 /1.84 and it woudn't take until I input just the 84 and 94...maybe this was the probelm? it's pretty shitty either way

the saga continues
now looks like I can log in BUT i receive error FFXI-3116 "Cannot select this character character. Content ID no longer valid. Please restore the content ID to select this character."
which of course isn't true since my character are all active on the Square Enix account page so I can't actually log into the server with my character.

I am happy to see that someone didn't have any problem but this issue is happening not only to me but to other friends of mine on fl XD

as it stands now SE said they don't know what's wrong as everything is active and that they will have to escalate this issue to some phantasmagorical superiors

I bought FFXI Ultimate edition so that I'd get all 3 Abyssea for £6 rather than pay $9.99 x3, I can't find anywhere to redeem it but I couldn't find that thing you're on about either

Ok well I found the code activation page you're mentioning and tried to put the code in and got:
"You cannot add expanded services because either the maximum number of service accounts has been added/registered or there are no service accounts to which the expanded services can be added/registered.

Thought it may be because my FFXI account was closed so I reactivated it and tried again and got the same message. Can't play the game w/o Abyssea so I just wasted money reactivating :\

It's an expansion code. Plug it in for any one that you need and the rest will automatically be registered with the one code.

Well it's not taking it, used the Destrier Beret code to see if it would take that and it worked fine.

How many codes were in the box total? There should be one code that covers all expansions. Use that one in one for one of the abysseas that you need and it should register all the rest for you automatically. I did this with the add-on scenarios when I picked up the last collection for $5 on steam and it worked just fine.

I got a single code that is for Final Fantasy XI and ALL expansions, on the new SE account system there is only one place where I can find that you can add codes, when I entered the Destrier Beret code there it worked fine, when I enter the FFXI one I get the error message I quoted. I see nowhere that you can specifically add a code for a specific Abyssea expansion as you seem to think you can, yes you could do this through Playonline before the change, but now I cannot.

Are you certain they're not already registered? If you used the code at any point it would have unlocked all ffxi content already.

I did try it a couple times through POL before the changes but was getting the message that it can't work cus there's no active account to put it on (cus it was closed). Haven't been able to get on FFXI yet to try talk to NPC to see if Abysseas are registered but going by this screen:

Yeah should show them there if they're registered. Wouldn't surprise me if SE didn't update the code for if you already have some of the services and just want to activate a few of the new ones using an ultimate collection code like you used to do via POL. I used that same entry area to create/register my dbox using the new ultimate collection, but it was a new character so that's probably why I didn't have an issue. Unless anyone knows something about doing this using the new system I'd call the help line or wait and see if they get around to updating everything soon.

When you buy FFXI Ultimate collection, you get 2 codes :
-one you enter as POL code/new FFXI account (not as an expasion code), and ALL expansions are already linked to this FFXI account (cannot use this to add expasions to other FFXI account).
-one for beret you can use on any FFXI account.
Well it's worked like this for me when I bought my alt char account.
