Setting up that new payment account thing, and it asked me for my Verified by Visa password.

I'd forgotten it, so I clicked "Forgot password." In order to have my password recovered, though, my Verified by Visa profile needs to have been customized (not sure why, but OK). The only way to customize it is to have my password. <All right!>

A bit inconvenient that I have to make a phone call to get it resolved, but if that's all it takes, I'll count myself lucky.

edit: A quick call fixed things. This is more Chase/Visa being silly, but SE is still the one making me jump through these hoops!

Also, I've skimmed through several pages in this thread, and have picked up a lot of discontent over "Click&Buy." That's the option I chose. I haven't had a problem yet throughout the process, but maybe I'm not looking in the right places. What sorts of nasty things should I be keeping an eye out for?

Monthly overcharge by a small amount... seems right up their alley based on all reports. Going to stick with Paypal. It's a little more "domestic" and there's something to be said for using a major provider. At least when Paypal systematically fucks up and gets hit with a class action lawsuit, you end up getting a piece.

Not paying an account outside its region. Did you just recently get charged? It took a little for the fee to be applied, dunno if the bank charged it or click and buy but its an extra 35c international fee.

You need to verify your CC on CNB, then they will auto-deduct from that account. Which for me was impossible. I went the crysta route which means I need to remember to add every month.

You probably have unpaid fees that need to be paid first. Then you can transfer.

Is there an idiot-proof step by step guide on how to do this whole mess somewhere? I'm going to go the Ultimate Game Card route since I have lots of Gamestop credit saved up and don't wanna go nuts trying to figure out how to do it.

My bank account still has not been charged for this months fees. I used Click&Buy and when I transferred that charge of two dollars and something showed now it's gone. I filled out the forms on SEs transfer page to the letter. I wanted it to be automaticly deducted from my account. I'm afraid to switch to the crysta method before the next billing cycle cause it mite screw something up.

No. The whole point of this is to wash their hands of the issue of billing costs and issues to their company.
