Hmmm, Bryth said it wouldn't fully transfer until he added Crysta right? Because I just got the "transfer completed" screen, email, updated status under service and options for my account and I got a balance of 0 Crysta. The only explanation I have for this is that I had Crysta on it before (lol14 which I then donated to Japan) or that Bryth had some other issue?

I completed the transfer no problem w/o any Crysta on the account, just bought it afterwards.

I think he's wrong. You only need Crysta to pay for services. If you don't need it you have no reason for it to require you to have Crysta. Not sure why he thinks that.

Well, after oliveira noted that JP accounts can no longer be linked to non-JP SE IDs like the FAQ said we could (which was apparently a short 3 week opportunity), they have locked the thread where we were trying to figure out how to deal with the JP account billing options issue, and difficulty of region conversion if we signed up for Square Enix Accounts when they first came out (punishment for early adopters...). The usual "this is not a technical problem, contact the support center for your region" which has been ignoring me for 6 weeks.

Anyone else getting login issues? Ive done the transfer, changed the PoL ID to my SE account login and im entering SE password but it keeps saying incorrect Id or password. Im probs just doing something stupid , just wondering if anyone else is getting this.

Are you just entering your SE ID info in the POL section? If so, you're doing it wrong.

In the Settings section of the inital log-in screen, you can enter your POL info, then a little further down add your SE ID info.

1st thing I did was add the se I'd in the pol settings. Don't know if I need to give it time to update , hope it's something like that as I'm about to give up.

Had no problems adding my mule account on SE ID, didn't have to wait for it to update, could log in right away (or well I entered the info for SE ID in POL after the SE ID site said the transfer was done in the status menu).

Little story since POL/SE ID can have a fuckload of passwords. Pre-SE ID you could have 2, the POL password (the one you use to get into account management too) which could be saved if you so chose. The other was a password as a second layer of security to get into POL in general, this one is optional, but if you use it, you will have to manually input it every time you log into POL.

Since the SE ID was added you could now have 2 of these manually input passwords, where I think your problem might be (I can't think of another explanation). In theory you can have 3 passwords set to manual, making it very tedious to enter passwords. Simple options: set POL PW to be saved, remove "second layer of security PW" completely and then you just have to enter your SE ID and token number manually. Hope it helps.

Ok, I went and bought an Ultimate Game Card at Gamestop, but I can't really find a place that tells you how to use it to buy Crysta. So..... any advice on how to use this thing?

I don't have the screen to look at here, but here's roughly how I did it. You just go to the account management, then click the big "buy Crysta" button. When the options pop up, you select the Ultimatespan (the purple and bluish logo). Then there should be two tabs, an option for Paypal, and an option for UltimateGameCards. Click the UGC tab and it will have a box for your email I think, and the cards pin number. Just put in your email (to recieve a reciept I guess). Then scratch off the back off the UG card, stick that pin number into the box. Then hit next and that should be it. Crysta shows up on your account instantly or in a few minutes.

Did the transfer, got email. So does this mean that all i have to do is add crysta and i wont have a bitch of a time coming back to the game(i'm taking a small break for the start of school)?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not.... but my dilemma is(not even sure if it is one yet) when the token came out my friend linked me on his token. He disabled it, so the code would not have to be put in every time and then attached my acct to it so that I could get the additional 80 spaces or whatever it was at the time. Does anyone know with this new transfer service if this is going to cause a problem since I don't have access to the token? Stressing over paying for a game ugh ;;

Better call and try to get them to unlink the account and make your own, or else your friend will have to pay your bill now. Even though they're not supposed to be able to unlink accounts once linked to an SE account, apparently some people have been able to do it by calling in.

I had that same problem. Went through the SE help chat and they unlinked the SE account and I was able to add it into new SE accounts. You don't lose satchel space either.

yuzu what did you tell them when you went through the chat? yah im also worried about losing the item space now as it is I still have to mule that gear if i lose that as well im def up creek without a paddle

Well, they refuse to do it for me, so I can relink to an American account, which they have now disabled as a function of JP accounts. I also can't post on the forum about it since a few hours after my Content IDs deactivated, since they deactivate your forum account too. It doesn't always happen the same day.

Support said they escalated the issue when I asked about an unlink or region change.
