I bought crysta last night, and was able to use my credit card straight up. No CNB, or pay pal. I still had to buy a set amount of crysta. Last month I tried cnb and that didn't work so I did pay pal.

They only *just* implemented the option to buy Crysta straight with a credit card. Added that option when they made the "easier payment options" announcement.

I'm assuming that you're Canadian. It's been reported by other Canadians that the direct CC option for Crysta is getting charged a currency conversion fee that is added into the price of the purchase.

So I've been wanting to change over to a different payment but when I try to change over it just keeps taking me to the Click and Buy account. Am I missing something?

Add Crysta > Choose Amount > UltimatePay > icon with Visa/Mastercard etc and you can pay directly.

Woke up this morning and tried to transfer from SE's account management system. Input my POL and PW and same message came up. I tried to go into POL to see if I had the wrong PW/ID and i can't even check that. So what now?

Yet when I contact SE they tell me it's the same issue you describe. That I've already paid for this month and need to wait for Sept 3rd to pass before I can do the transfer. This whole transfer process is such crap.

Read this on FFXIAH. If this is true, why can't SE just be more clear.

Ok, so I checked it out and: under Services and Options you choose Select Service > Playonline/Final Fantasy XI > there under Active Transfer Accounts it should show your POL acc and the "Transfer" button next to it. You click it and follow the instructions (when asked for payment options just pick Crysta), then wait for the confirmation e-mail that the account has been transferred. After that you will need to Add Crysta to be able to pay for the game (just follow what I posted for Aurara on this page).

Am I locked out or is this a very unusual coincidence of timing with me getting POL errors when trying to hit play (after completing my survey) and going onto the game itself from POL? I thought we had a deadline extension but I don't trust SE to have properly told the server to extend the allowance of old-payment users to keep playing.....

I rarely get POL errors too - is anyone else having issues?

Also: How worried should I be handing over information to either of their processing groups? Ive never heard of UltimatePay or ClickandBuy so right off the bat Im suspiscious and everyone's vehement response back in late July only makes me more concerned....
