No my mom is 5'6 and my dad is around 5'11 I believe

I feel like, here (MD/DC), at least where I am and where I go, everyone is "short" (not taller), with the occasional man a head taller (and I just swoon!)

^This. DC is full of <6' midgets. 6'5 here, and lately I've become shockingly aware of how much of a giant I am, and it doesn't help that my in-laws are all <5'6".
