These two are after the Artic Enema obstacle, which sucked. It was totally the worst one there, I felt like I was going into shock (and probably was).

It's basically a huge dumpster full of ice, with a giant piece of wood you have to swim under. It was like 95 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, HOT weather. So it sounds nice, right? And it's probably all melted and warm too, right!? NO.

They had TRUCKS full of ice with guys ripping open 50lb bags and constantly dumping them in. My body instantly went numb, and I couldn't even breath while in the water. I literally jumped out and sprinted for the next quarter of a mile, half-yelling/grunting/moaning.

This was after the electro-shock therapy, which I made it through OK, but it's also the last obstacle and like 50-ft from the finish line. I look totally dead-to-the-world exhausted at this point lol, but it's at the end.

Yeah, the shirts are really damn good quality; they're equivalent to like a $40 under armor workout shirt.

I almost want to do the race every year just for the awesome shirts lol. Of course, even without that I'm already sold/committed to 2014... really tempted to try to do the one in August too in Vermont.
