Really though, my point was that he could at least try and make the same amount of effort as you do in terms of looks. You seem to have this preconceived notion that a man shouldn't do that, and those who do that can't also be all of those things that you described.

Looks aren't everything, and frankly I don't want to date some guy that looks in the mirror every five minutes to make sure his hair isn't out of place. (Been there, done that.) I think he's perfect just the way he is, he's sexy in more ways than one. Personality is better than dating a guy who's super sexy and is just a complete douchebag (again, been there done that. How is that attractive to any woman?) I'm happy with my relationship and I give no fucks on people that think differently, we fit together really well. I would rather date a guy who I can have a good time with, game with and be with a guy who I have a lot in common with...Than a guy who I have nothing in common with, and that the whole reason I'm dating him is because of the way he looks.(I know a girl who does this and she's completely miserable with her life.)
