also, thats one hell of a lot of steps to get raid attunment, I don't think wow was even that bad to attune to black temple (before they removed the requirement). Although it did take a few months and 25ish people (with hopefully not too many idiots)

Timed runs + rep grinds = shit to me in terms of MMO gameplay. I get the reason behind it, but I was never a fan of it, or challenge modes in WoW. It's just constant resetting if RNG or anything goes wrong when you're starting out, and makes people take very specific setups to maximize the run. I remember feeling worthless as a WW monk trying to do Gold runs because I didn't bring shit to the table.

Depends if Wildstar has a cockblock like Kael. A lot of people floundered there for a long ass time, because of how technical the fight was and how long...but then again you were already raiding. This would be like the equiv of the Karazhan or MC attunement to even start raiding right? Like this is the only way to begin raiding in Wildstar?

haha well I ment in terms of sheer effort just to get to the "real" raid/endgame which is black temple, it took a lot of effort to do all the quests, get 25 not too derp people and to push through Serpent shrine + tempest keep to get vials to enter battle for mount hyjal, to finish a quest to enter black temple.

Think it averaged 3-4months of effort, and longer for some guilds?

Severs seem like they are up but I can't log into the game after character select. It just hangs on the loading screen.

As long as you get to char select if you relog it should save your spot for a little while (people have said 30 seconds or so).

Queue doesnt seem as long. Guess it isnt primetime yet.

My main concern is that while in queue and windowed. The game continues to use resources at full steam. Luckily I use adaptive v sync, so its only using enough to get 60 fps. Still kinda odd for it to use so much gpu power when its not even rendering anything but the character selection screen.

I brought this up a while back in beta, seems to affect a good few people and there was already a thread about it. It def has to do with the shitty bright coloring and flat textures. Others have gotten headaches, eye strain, dizzy, nausea. It really was not addressed as far as I know though.

never got that in the beta, only thing that sort of gets me is from a high position falling down (I do have a sort of fear of heights!) which happens in all games if I'm staring down as I fall (like I did in wow)

Finally got on, nvidia geforce experience update screwed my sound up while i was in queue. So im stuck with no audio.

You'd love this one spot in the Exile city then. As an Explorer, you can bounce/climb up to an incredibly high tower that you can run/jump down, into the next zone, which is significantly lower then the actual city. >_>

I did whatever aurim has, one the quests has you jumping on shrooms like 500feet in the air, not as bad as warcraft when I was screwing around with the "invincibile bike" trying to jump off dalaran onto a pad .. contest thing we were doing

Might be related to FoV. I couldn't play EOS for more than 30 minutes before feeling really sick, downloading a FoV editor fixed that for me.

as far as the dizziness is concerned. I was getting that when I was in the exile forest zone right after the starting ship. I'll never step foot in that area again. No idea why my screen would FUCKING GLARE every-so-often. Fuck that zone

Yeah, the green pulse effect on the screen made my eyes hurt after some time. It's really unfortunate that they put it in there.
