I was planning to dps and off heal, but I may end up main healing. I find it a lot of fun when people aren't tards and when people are tards and I save them it's satisfying.

Game was fun, I hear the story doesn't actually START till 30 or something? So the first dozen levels are kind of boring and I find myself just clicking through quest text because it's basic "Gotta save dem pigs/trees/fairies/cows.." or "gotta collect dem pigs/trees/fairies/cows..." shit. Graphics are interesting, very cartoony but I don't like the character design. Every race other then Draken really felt like a marshmallow formed to look humanoid. An odd complaint maybe, but they just looked like something from a disney MMO.

The environment's are really nice, a lot of areas looking much better then WoW areas BUT the zones feel very cut off. Like how in WoW and some other MMOs you can see a zone from another zone, or how each zone has multiple entrance/exit points and quests pushing you into them from different areas at times.

Played Spellsplinger/Warrior/Stalker up to around 15ish, Stalker was probably the most fun with the quick attacks but was also really OP I felt lol, just blew shit up without really trying. Might hop on and play some more this next week since I have a few days left on my pass but the questing is just a slog to me, more of the same.

I think everyone feels op at lower levels. I used to gather 3-5 groups of mobs then AOE them on my esper. Now however I pull like 2 and get close to dying or die.

Yeah, I'm only 20 now, but I've been able to solo some pretty gnarly stuff as an Esper, between the CC, tumbling, and tank pet. I can imagine at later levels I'll just get crushed though...I take a *lot* of damage.
Speaking of that tanky ghost pet, at max level it has the ability to generate 100% of my own threat...why can't titan-egi do this in XIV?

Because Titan egi is permanent and doesn't last for only 10 seconds. Also, its 100% of your threat at the time of summon (that's what the language sounded like to me), so you can still pull off of it

Hey guys, so I've been a long time BG lurker but decided to actually make myself known, and after reading the thread and looking into some gameplay and stuff I got sold. I'm over on Thunderfoot, Exile. Leveling a Medic and Engineer (Had a Stalker, but by the time I get on to play, there is always a queue for Stormtalon, so I just play on Thunderfoot now).
