Because Titan egi is permanent and doesn't last for only 10 seconds. Also, its 100% of your threat at the time of summon (that's what the language sounded like to me), so you can still pull off of it

There's still no reason that Titan-egi can't have a taunt. I'd have been able to save quite a few wipes that way.

Ok so been playing around a bit, so far so good but one major gripe I have with the game right now, camera control with the mouse is very hit-and-miss. Playing GW2 for a while almost spoiled me how easy it was to pan around with the mouse while moving and in combat. Panning the camera around in this gets kinda sticky. Hope this is just a bug. As to characters, played around with Engi and Esper for a bit, engi was cool but felt alot like the vanguard/PT from SWTOR, which is ok I guess. Wasn't a big fan of esper due to the 1 skill having no mobility, but its still early so I'll hold off judgement. Gonna go try a few more now.

Did the first dungeon, Stormtalon's Lair. Went as dps, so I'm not sure if the tank and healer were derps, but regardless, that shit is tough. This isn't an ease-into-it-first-dungeon, this is a "if you fuck up, you will die" dungeon.

I've noticed you can either go in without a level cap and steamroll, or go in capped and get achievements/etc. Kinda neat.

First time I went in there I queued as healer and dps... only had like 3 support gear pieces (no support weapon). It was hard as shit to heal. Thankfully we downed the first boss and it dropped a support weapon lol and after that it was pretty easy to heal.

Yeah I just did the exact same thing (Esper), healer bailed after failing on the first boss, so I picked up the slack. Thankfully I had a bunch of healing crap in my bag "just in case". Had to figure out the whole focus thing on the fly, and realize which of my moves took focus and which didn't. First boss dropped cloth pants, and second dropped a kickass healing psiblade. Finally finished the dungeon, and holy crap, going in with zero idea of mechanics was tons of fun, and getting a group that wasn't complete pants-on-head was nice.
