    Had the same feeling but coming from Alabama. Film was off the charts and the girl I was with claimed it was her first Tarantino movie haha

    Maybe i don't have enough white guilt to love this but...

    I was disappointed and felt it was QT's weakest movie of the ones i have seen. Where as his previous movie was quite good this one just came off as one dimensional in it's entirety, i didn't care about anything and lost most interest past the first plantation owner and the resulting shoot out. It basically used the entire idea process behind the orgasm of the jew/nazi theater shoot out but instead of it being one eyerollingly stupid scene it was for the majority of the movie.
    Sam L jackson meeting django/first plantation owner meeting + blind kkk people were only parts i genuinely enjoyed.
    If you are going to make an extremely one dimensional revenge flick please at least help me care about anyone involved.
